  1. I went through 3 "ford starter solenoids" from them with lifetime warranty once the 3rd was bad after less than a month of use, I aksed for money back finally found a good one in a jy, free! lasted over 2 years was using it as a short term continuous duty glow plug relay lifetime warranty just means longer than the other options

  5. just got done reading every page of ea81 parts manual starting to get some wild ideas
  6. you need a 6ft shovel just imagine if you had a shovel and a small snowblower I used to keep a toro snow pup 21" in front passenger seat floor or trunk, and a nice shovel shovel is your best friend
  7. they sound very good when running on 2 cyl ea81 only 1 and 2 were working 4 was off it's rocker 2 bent pushtube only front cyl's worked, but very smooth and quiet since you did not say which engine , it could also be that # 1 / 3 timing belt is off
  8. received EA81 dist. drive gear on crankshaft situation: engine was running fine, letting it warm up about 10 min. just idling -- go to turn on blower, and engine dies try restarting and only get backfire :-\ after removing sparkplugs, drive it into the garage using starter -- uphill icy snow, close to garage door, had to use 4x4 and have help pushing check timing and it's not even close remove dist. shaft doesn't turn freely, must use force, not fun having to turn crankshaft to provide clearance for the gears to slip past notice aluminum bits down shaft hole drain coolant from block, remove radiator, hood latch support, crankshaft bolt, pulley, and seal gear has a flat spot atleast I have 4 spare dist. to choose from, one with matching part # received 2 from CCR matching part # dist installed, had to swap vac. advance system

  17. yes, that's right headlights worked fine before car was shut off for about 1/4 hr, but when restarted, headlights did not turn on unless dimmer switch held in the rear - "flash to pass" position - so I had to drive home about 5 miles and 10 minutes with my middle finger on the trigger :-\ I tried restarting car, and turning switch several times, always

  20. 65*f+ so says the thermometer next to the window
  21. It will be a PITA to wire correctly, and route, better off using the kit - especially if the included switch is lighted -- so you don't forget they are on for oncoming traffic new switch should fit nicely to the right of the headlight switch in the empty spot that is used for the panel dimmer on later models, unless the headlight switch is also the turnsignal lever...... subaru commercial was on when I started typing this post it was about children's charity and Ramsey Subaru
