  1. it's very common for the connection to come loose, try bending the pins on the headlight for better connection, after you use a can of electrical contact cleaner to get rid of the evil greenies

  7. stay away from the "fart cans", that's just bling run 2" all the way, and a glasspack in the stock position no need to run a "cherry bomb", that's just brand name when the $14 auto parts store ones work just fine

  10. no, there is a difference between spfi/carb and mpfi/turbo, and there are different "generations" search for "intake manifold gasket"
  11. remove the egr valve, and put on a block off plate, use a new gasket as a pattern, sounds like how my car runs with the egr valve removed and nothing there check the 4x vac lines
  12. replace your spark plugs, cap, rotor, and check the wires
  13. save your "pantograph jack" for precise adjustment of height, and jacking the front of a narrow front allis chalmers wd 45, or similar tractor, when any other jack won't fit, been there, done that it is also acceptable to use a 6x6 on the jack, if the jack can't jack it, as I do it every day jacking spreaders
  14. this talk about the position of the coil killed it is total BS, as you can see in the pic, it is a coil that is pointed down in the origional location, and has survived harsh conditions
  15. the jy is the best place to collect oem fuses and fusible links, and they may be considered "pocket parts"
  16. do I have to use the ea82 clutch disk? wantintg and needing to use as much ea81 as possible
  17. I "could" stick in my 85 dr from the wagon, or the 82 dr from McBrat's red brat, if I really had to would an ea81 5spd fwd work?

  19. where can I have a key made by the code for 84 and older? dealer couldn't
  20. you will not find it unless you tear apart the steering column, 85 fsm says so
