manifold swap success???
yes used ea81 throttle cable bracket, wiring harness removed all the extra crap, egr, canister, lines never-sez manifold bolts, hope it works removed coolant bypass by t-stat rerouted bypass from outlet to block 1/2 also used complete exhaust system from 85 wagon

and on mine, disconnected the door dinger, still no luck horn and hazards work no dome lite

when it decides to NOT start, bypass the ignition switch with the key off, in park, run a hot wire to + coil and another wire to the male connecter on the back of the starter, it should work then

about the ecm, 1. see if you can run the car with it disconnected 2. if it does run with it disconnected, LEAVE IT DISCONNECTED 3. unless you can't pass emissions usually 4x4 non californin had NO computers

Messed up idle, EA81
1. are you sure you have the grounds, wires, vac lines,and tach is reading correct? 2. is the ac on? may be an idle controller

what sparkplugs are you using? check to make sure the timing indicator is installed correctly

yeah, the detent for recline didn't work, took cover off, cleaned out all the CRAP, and there is a bolt that is stripped out, so it rocks also looking for a 2/3 seat lift kit
