  1. knowing EYESORE, it probably is to fix a window it's boring until you go sideways IN THE MUD "ROAD"
  2. yes used ea81 throttle cable bracket, wiring harness removed all the extra crap, egr, canister, lines never-sez manifold bolts, hope it works removed coolant bypass by t-stat rerouted bypass from outlet to block 1/2 also used complete exhaust system from 85 wagon
  3. and on mine, disconnected the door dinger, still no luck horn and hazards work no dome lite
  4. when it decides to NOT start, bypass the ignition switch with the key off, in park, run a hot wire to + coil and another wire to the male connecter on the back of the starter, it should work then
  5. once you do find them, paint them white and get a set of "classic" spinners, the ones that have 3 blades and stick out, OLD school rules
  6. 85 and 86, except hatch and brat had it as part in the steering column, it is NOT a round canister
  7. instant ghetto-lift, just inflate and I drove it today
  8. still looking for the kind you can "pump up" when the load is on and it begins to sag

  11. about the ecm, 1. see if you can run the car with it disconnected 2. if it does run with it disconnected, LEAVE IT DISCONNECTED 3. unless you can't pass emissions usually 4x4 non californin had NO computers
  12. 1. are you sure you have the grounds, wires, vac lines,and tach is reading correct? 2. is the ac on? may be an idle controller
  13. what sparkplugs are you using? check to make sure the timing indicator is installed correctly
  14. as being 5'6"+\-, it would be nice to SEE out over the wipers!!
  15. I hooked it up, took longer to get the light so I could see fuse box still hanging down
  16. I don't know, haven't had time to crack into it yet
  17. yeah, the detent for recline didn't work, took cover off, cleaned out all the CRAP, and there is a bolt that is stripped out, so it rocks also looking for a 2/3 seat lift kit
  18. sounds like it locked up, sucker! so did mine
  19. than the ea81 4spd d/r clutch cable? stupid ea81 cable in brat is too short also, jy run tuesday 14 ! I'm this close > <
  20. IF there is a coil pack, then there is a "set timing" procedure, usually involves messing with a wire IF you disconnected the battery, the car might have to "re-learn" how to run correctly I'm NOT experienced with NEW GEN SUBARU
  21. it's an issue of "will fit" vs. "correct replacement fit"
