  8. no, not the head gaskets, unless it's obviously bad, but consider front crank seal, oil pan gasket adjust valves and replace gaskets, change sparkplugs, install oil pressure guage, set timing, exhaust and intake gaskets, vac. caps, egr valve remove, gasket, carb change -- weber, ea82 system, get rid of carter/weber, replace vac and fuel lines, filters -- oil, air, fuel change from summer air to winter air in tires

  10. since you are that far, replace everything that should be replaced, hoses, gaskets, thermostat when you put the manifold bolts in, use never-sez your waterpupm or radiatior is suspect #1, a good non contact thermometer should be used to troubleshoot
  11. there is supposed to be a block of rubber that is bonded to the bottom piece of metal that is bolted to the body I just stuck a block of wood in there to get by in the wagon in the brat, I just bolted it solid to the body no problem, drive happy
  12. if it is pushbutton, you can connect def to supply, had that problem last year check the fusible links and fuses

  20. it may be timing, oxygen sensor, spark plugs!!, restricted exhaust, plugged fuel or air filter!! if you smell something sweet, and the deforst doesn't clear the windshield, it may be a bad heater core
  21. put your OLD coil back in, you did save it, didn't you?? if you still have the problem, it means you have a problem had similar issue, had to change dist, just changing the control module did no good, as it was a matter of broken and worn out parts
