Speedometer cable EA81
you can reconnect the cable after you put back the instrument panel and pull down the fuse panel, and stick your hand up there, also helps if you pull the large plastics from under the steering wheel area

change the oil to John Deere Break in oil. if you use too good of oil, it does not have the correct friction properties to allow the componets to set and change the drain plug gasket and oil filter

85 GL10 Fuel pump / filter question
don't bother pulling the wheel, just slither under, that's what I always do, and use something to pinch off the fuel line, unless you like getting soaked by fuel

pepper in coolant
Is it "SAFE" to use GM coolant supplement sealant? It is mostly turnip root and almond shells, IIRC it is what is required for the aluminum block and cast iron head 4. ht series engines, and works good
-
yeah, its stupid, but answer it anyway.
the benefit of synthetics is the extended change interval for OTR trucks, with 100,000 mile change intervals do not use additves, as they are not necessary with a good oil
-
85 GL10 Fuel pump / filter question
there is a fuel filter that is before the pump, on the same bracket, which should be behind the right side wheel
