there is another way that I have used that takes 3 hours both ways, but that included stoking the stove every 30 minutes while the snow kept falling, and the wind kept howling, and I kept shivering there is also the easy way that includes pulling the engine, transmission, rim, and finally axle, but save that for later today the bolt marked "no touch" I had to!!!! enjoy :biggrin: -

you need to adjust the valves AFTER you rebuild the engine check the oil pressure sending unit with an ohmmeter, the tool that measures resistance install a mechanical oil pressure guage, and skip the step above^ install new 15W40 oil, and a new filter and drain plug gasket after breakin it is also good to make sure you have the correct NGK sparkplugs bpr6es-11 -

run the car wirh the alt disconnected, it is probably the distributor bushings going bad, search "jumpy tach" -

the jy in WAUKEE, WRENCH AND SAVE, yeah rite, thinks their 86 xt in an 86 gl, and wants $150 for the mpfi, and $100 for the fwd, and seat covers are $15, and shift knobs are $5, and I dickered them once 50%, bought the distributor splash shield for $5, told them that's all I have
