  1. and I had a vibration problem, pulled the air box and duct work out, the division caught a huge mound, and the fan was full, but it still worked, now setting 1 was setting 4, glad I cleaned it
  2. or impact wrench, light, radio, vacum,or chainsaw!! I love my power supply
  3. just use an extension and impact wrench, pops them out!!

  8. IF the holes were not there in the gasket, but "nature" put them there, then make them for the replacement a blue roloc will do wonders on aluminum brown for brakes, flywheels and pp green "sandpaper" for grinding rust it's a matter of tools
  9. my guess just by looking at the video, it's an 82 dl, orange dash gave it away if only... it wasn't so far away! atleast I have my snowmobile trails :tongue:
  10. a CHEVY like yours is "squirly" in 4x4, and you can't max out low, stupid auto's
  11. subaru does not use window frames, as does not gm older snaps, velcro, magnets, duck tape for us!
  12. could you be more specific as to which trans you have? if it's a justy, run the thinnest you can find I have synthetic turn signal fluid, now it sounds good! :cool:
  13. brat has metal bumpers, and wanted to know if it would be good to cut a window out to mount the lights in the bumpers, can't go below, as they would be ripped off - already used the license plate to plow grass, can't go above the bumper because of the tailgate, don't want to go on the ends as they may be ripped off! looking for a better idea or approval
  14. why would the u-joint start making noise after the transplant when it worked fine in the wagon?
  15. it's an 84 brat with 85 wagon clutch, driveshaft, and transcarrier bearing is good, no mounting problems oil was full makes similar noise when hitting bumps, running on rebound stoppers it's definately there when driving in 4x4 and not there when driving in fwd, when driving in same path
  16. nope, noise was there before and after I did the brakes, all looked good
  17. I'm saying it's something to do with the crank, pistons, main bearings, or rods, as the FRONT has low compression
  18. sounds like woody woodpecker when driving in 4x4 from the rear tires and tire pressure same on all 4 the driveshaft did not make any noise in the previous car
  19. just pop off as many of the clips you can reach, and pry the box open so you can go through the side opposite the firewall

  21. thanks, looking for more opinions, do they have a good heater?
  22. is it? do they have "issues" with rust? $ 1300 seems a little steep, but new clutch kit and battery, claimed no rust florida car 90k miles
  23. it is NOT AWD, JUST 4WD D/R RUN IT IN FWD UNTIL YOU HAVE TROUBLE!!
