  2. you must watch out, as the "as origionally equipped" makes a difference, there may have been at least 4 "flavors", california, auto, manual, trubo, but they "should" work, may need spacers

  5. 1. it is NORMAL to feel significant resistance while turning the wheel if you are stopped or moving slowly, it is MANUAL steering the noise may be the clutch cable hitting the steering shaft, very likely and common your WIFE needs to exercise her mite, or try a different technique 2. the problem is YOU DO NOT DRIVE ON HARD SURFACES WHILE IN 4WD IF you find it nearly impossible to shift out of 4WD, try driving up on a slight hill, set the parking brake, shift into reverse, and work the lever
  6. no, it is more than just clearing the dist you have to extend various wires, coolant temp, oil pressure, etc. swap throttle cable bracket remove and plug the bypass line that goes to the t-stat housing, reroute bypass lines remove the tab by said bypass line remove metal on alt bracket mix n' match emissions lines use ea82 upper rad hose, air box and other tidbits trust me, I've done it I did NOT do anything to the dist. quit HIJACKING this thread

  10. strip off the plastic to reveal the thin metal and drill the correct size holes, it works

  13. the jump up is the button you push in on the left the tilt is the lever that is above your knee
  14. I'm not sure what the tray is, but when I had to drive in serious rain, I ran the hot air intake pipe from the warm air intake port of the air box to behind the carb, and set the vac line so it did not take in fresh air, ea82
  15. an ea81 carb?? I'll see about that, they both have hitachi chokes, appear to have the same bolt pattern, and are made in JAPAN Only major preliminary differences is the float level window is 10x larger on the ford, and it uses a round air cleaner
  16. moonshine? everclear? fermented RICE? if using "RUBBING", it is 30% water, 100% is available what about ethyl, methyl, and others? propane injection is for diesel, works like nos for gas
  17. choke is a blue w/white stripe, and another wire, as on ea81 climate control goes from intake manifold to canister, must have, to driver side entry, to junction by heater lines, as in ea81, up to the push buttons
  18. the round ball thing is a reservoir, holds vac to run accessories when you have no engine vac, that is your program
