Diffs are beefy... Subaru diffs are industructable.. I think NASA uses subaru diffs to smash them into comets or something... then they fall back to earth and get put on a Loyale or something:rolleyes:

yeah sort of.. the coil takes 12 volt charge (high amp) and sucks it up into a 35-45 thousend volt charge to make the spark ignight the flame. then sends it through the little black square thingy on the coil... thats the igniter. without the high voltage the spark wouldnt have enough power to jump acrossnthe plug under compression... I would just go ahead and buy a MSD coil.. or an equivalent.. Im going toget one sooner or later... itl give you a hotter spark... hope it helps

LARD There I said it.. hard to believe huh?? Soap will work but..... use lard... silicone spray is 1000s of times better than soap but lard is the best option dont forget to be very very generous!!! dont tear a bead!!! some kids already did it at my school (on practice wheels of course) just because they got lazy and didnt lube it up!! Oh! I forgot... i think its a special lard but im not sure.. or at least its more expensive than regular lard... But napa should have something that would work.. i dont think autozone or checker/shucks or even kragen would have it

my car has an aftermarket sterio in it and... my trip computer still works... it has this big thick extention piece of plastic that brings it out about 3 inches... I didnt install it so I dont know where to get things for it... ABout the lights... Well.. I took mine apart and... lost 1 in the process... and some how lost the otherone too.. but I took a picture in my photographic memory... I dont know where to get them but NorthWet suggested that I try checker or something like that... Im gonna go to BAP since there exclusivly imports... I hope i can find them!!! Besure to post if you find where to get them!!

I like my tail lights... only the headlights are something I would change... to Litronics... but those cost lots, and arnt made for a Gl-10....

The Pump gets power when its in the on position it senses pressure drop and then pulsates... what you saw on you meter was it getting a power surge so it will boost the fuel pressure for start up... (correct me if im wrong guys) and idunno about the block heaters

Yeah double clutching works too... And im not saying to become a ulmate racer... just an expierement for you subiebuffs... its getting cold here in az also... you can really feel the car drag more because of it... I would totaly reccomend some mobile one gl-5 gear lube... or redline synthetic... there the 2 best brands out there!!! and remember these cars wernt made for fast shifting.. especially down to 1st!!!

Its not hard on it if you know how to heal-toe... first just try blipping the throttle befeore you (Gently Theses sync's are really slow) push it in gear

Yeah thats a definate sign of an oil sucker.. mines doing that too... It goes from the PCV and through the combustion chamber.... if its leaking... think of it as a vaccum leak... Thats metered air coming out of the crankcase.... If unmetered air (metered meaning... comes after the MAF) gets into the system your car can run like poo! If you see a little bit of oil in the intake, well, thats expected, but, if you see like.. alota oil... then youd better get a catchcan and plug all of your breathers into it!! Someone else can explain the pcv system more in depth... Just wanted to give you a quick synopsis and bad spelling to boot!

I dont know if this will help but.. My car (when it had hewglymongous exhaust leaks) did the crappy when I floored it.... It would sumble... kinda like it was about to fall on its face... and then surge forth... but slowly at that... Not to menchin the amount of fuel this thing was using... So i would check for Haust leaks either before the turbo.. or before the 02 sensor... hope it helps!!!

My car gets better and then gets poopier.... not to menchin... Im running severly low in the funds department... ive got to get a job!!!!
