...how do you hook them up, i got a vacume/boost gauge today for $15 and i want to put it in, what is the easiest way to hook it up. again this is a mechanical gauge. Thanks, Shean PS... Pictures help too of hook up and mounting locations.

with decent tires you all think $250 is too much, then how much would you offer, and dont say $140, thats crap, i see them go for $200 all the time. and if no one wants to pay that much i know i can get that much on e-bay.

and i was just thinking, im going to have the guy bring them to my work and see if he will let me put them oon for a few days to see if i like them, if i do i'll get pictures. but i dunno i might just get the tires off them and get some other rims because the whole theme settup for my car is red silver and black, so i dunno how its going to look with the gold rims.

they are 13's, which is fone with me, they come with BFG traction T/A tires with about 100 miles on them, 205/60/13 and actually i like the 13's on my coupe, i think they look good, i would get tires for my 15's but i cant afford them. and i want $250 for my pugs, lugs and decent tires.

i can get a set of these with brand new tires for $200, think its a good deal? i was going to sell the 15's with their tires and buy these for the coupe. what do ya think?

all i did today was use a cutoff wheel on a dye grinder at Aaron's, cut off the bottom heat sheild, just the tack welds, then cut a large C in the bottome, then just hammered a long flathead screwdriver and put it through about 4 times and it all fell out, then got the needle nose and pulled out the mesh. now i just have to weld it back up as well as the flange tot he DP itself where it bolts to the turbo, its cracked almost 50% around the pipe, so looks like i got to do that also now.

you've got some great points, but i was thinking of building a hybrid if i kept it, then see what it could do. but im not going to keep it, its just too much work for me to try to do when i am leaving for phoenix in a month. oh did you get my PM about the VIN by the way?? Thanks, Shean

ya i know, im trying to get a turbo timer, boost controller, gauges (a/f, boost/vacume, and EGT) and get a intercooler settup like yours with H20 sprayer settup, and a electric fan pushing air through the intercooler until i can get a scoop to fit my hood.

sorry you miss understood... how do i put a 91 legacy turbo onto my 1986 EA82T engine inplace of my stock turbo.

ok, how would i hook this up on my stock settup, my motor is all stock and i cant weld aluminum unless someone can come and weld it for me.

ok well i would have got my clutch in yesterday at workl, but the guys wimped out and then started to act like a bunch of pricks about helping me. so i barly got the coupe home. anyways they said that 6 out of 10 turbo cars will sheer the studs off the turbo when you try to take off the down pipe, thats why they dont want to help me. well i want to know if this is true, and if it is, what can i do to try to prevent it, just soak it in WD-40 or something? also im going to drop the tranny rather then pull the motor, so is there any other advice you all can point out to me that can make this faster?? or is there anyone that would be willing to come and help, i can suply the food, and a few bucks for ya. the 86 wagon is about 4500 when goofin around or about 3500 around town the 86 turbo coupe, about 5500 when goofing around, and about 3k when crusing town, which is hard to do with that turbo power. Shean

ok then im just going to get a new clutch and everything else, see what kind of deal i can get on that stuff. then just stay after work one day at Aaron's and have Lenny and Shawn help me out since Shawn is doing a clutch in his car sometime this week also. but all i have to say about this car is that it is absolutly AWSOME!!! it hauls so much arse, and i kept up with my buddy with his impreza with the 22 in it and 5sp. then i just got home from hitting this hill called snake hill, all it is is twisties back and forth up a steep arse hell, i was power sliding the car thanks to that LSD, it was ALOT of fun. just cant wait to get some dirt tires and hit this set of old dirt trails by my buddies house.

well after having some fun, powersliding through the back roads all day, and playing with my friend in his 94 impreza with a 2.2 i started to get a slipping clutch. i can get good used clutches for $35 from Aaron's, and i was thinking of putting one in my car my self, this is the first tiem ive changed a clutch, so what all do i have to do to get this done. and could anyone come and help me knock it out in like a day? i can pay you a few bucks that i have. what is the part# for your turbo timer, and what wiring harness are you using, and where do you hook it up to? that is the first thing i am getting, a turbo timer, then A/F gauge, then Boost. so this is very important to me, Thanks, Shean

lol, i try, if i dont like the deal i make sure i get what i want, i can be very persauvive, cunning, and just a pain in the rump roast if i have to. anyways, when i get down ill have to get ahold of you and take you for a ride in it, it already kicked the dog crap out of my buddies 93 ford escort on the way home from school. so im happy with my first kill... he ran 18's in the 1.4 so i have to be in the 17's because i kicked the crud out of him. and i didn't even launch it, i just floored it the same time as him off the line. well here it is, i already got a new fuel filter for it, corner marker lense, impreza seats (like the ones in my wagon), new speakers, and probally a few more things i need to get soon. the only problem is that it doesn't want to idle, so looks as if im going to have to hunt down that problem, other then that it rides really smooth, and is a sweet lil car. not too bad for $380, now i just need to lower it, more boost, the pug 15's, put in the impreza seats, and gauges and ill be about done. ok im going to put in a Boost gauge, as well as a exhaust temp gauge on my A-pillar, and i need to know what pod to use, if i use the universal, or one for a honda or something. Thanks, Shean
