  1. any should be fine.. but just remember that it does not bolt straight up or plumb straight up.. do some searches on it lots of good info around here.
  2. 12 volts to the injectors when ignition is on you should have none if it is off. you have ecu power while cranking? check that.. make sure you do.. it's a common mistake. also be sure you have fuel pump power while cranking as well (if you have to, grab current at the starter)
  3. cool I was to far away to help... but was really wishing I could! glad they are alright!
  4. my favorite body style in the legacy what are these going for in the 100k mile range? with a stick shift?
  5. so the Awd made you drift straight 4 the ditch? seriously though. some people use EJ stuff when they swap and others use EA stuff. EJ radiator outlets and inlets are larger than EA and hoses are hard to make work when to mismatch engines to radiators... so either way will be rough on you now or later...
  6. haha It's all good... 400 dollar headlights? are they That rare?
  7. longer bolts and washers on the hood hinges... looks nice on some cars.. I had it done to my Chrysler conquest TSi for a while. oh I dig the idea of the vent similar to the red car, too!
  8. way to go smart-alec! you found him the wrong lights. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/_Car-Truck-Parts-Accessories__JDM-Subaru-99-Legacy-Twin-Turbo-B4-OEM-HID-Headlights_W0QQitemZ350073008043QQadnZCarQ20Q26Q20TruckQ20PartsQ20Q26Q20AccessoriesQQadiZ2865QQcmdZViewItem?_trksid=p3756.m20.l1116 wow those are pricey! I'd open up the ones you have... paint the housings black, put in some nice bulbs and call it a day!
  9. hmm my FWD imp shift linkage looks nothing like that... looks like it's going to be something I have to figure out... nice cross member pics saved me many worries, though... looks like I can use my EA FWD cross member almost exactly like stock! (BTW Phil FTMFW)
  10. ewww Tempo.... Tempo?, no thanks, I'll walk.
  11. I have searched... but not haveing much luck.. I am trying to be prepared before hand... all I seem to find in the search for linkage fixes is "address the linkage" can we be more specific?? cause I am not finding anything helpful! (and I might be searching wrong, search and I have a hard time getting along)
  12. did the pencil come out??
  13. bump... needs more votes folks come on!
  14. you might not want to do this either lol but the camry ran better after finding the Vac line for the FPR and giving it a few pulls... a vacuum pump would have been nice right then.
  15. be sure to get the turbo spoiler. and find me one too...
  16. the FPR allows fuel to enter (or not) the return line. when it doesn't allow fuel through you have higher pressure. if it's busted the fuel flows straight through and you won't have enough pressure. my camry ran rough because of a return line once. but that was because the pump wasn't picking up because nothing was going back to the cup in the tank. (EA82 has an external pump and won't have a cup) but the line out of the tank could be clogged with fuel gunk. (running the car a day or two solved this) I assume you sea-foamed?
  17. yes.. and you can also clamp the return line shut... if it runs right (although rich) then that's the issue.
  18. Fuel injection FTW. Kthnxbye.
  19. if you got the gonads to run pink wheels, then by all means seriously? :-\
  20. cool.... hurry up I want to see :-\
  21. wasn't me... and I just checked over there for Zukiru since it wasn't in use I registered it... lol I was Zukiru on the Aerio forum... now we have an SX4.. I am not zukiru on sx4 club..
