the belt turns the cam and the cam drives the distributor if the rotor doesn't spin when you crank it it likely is a timing belt.

but need tires still! need some center cap ideas... I don't like the large chrome things and I don't have them anyway if anybody knows of something flat or slightly domed that fits I am all ears! KThnxBai

do you have a trike site? I am becoming increasingly interested in them especially if they can subie motors in them. (I vote for the EJ motor too.)

we have two (or 3) guys on xt.com who have done EJ20s in XTs (Vortexes, actually) I read that they used washers (spacers) to help clear the crossmember but they also had to do some cutting, ETC.

five lug swap dash surround if it isn't cracked (to sell to an XT owner) is it a good car? or not worth saving?

be sure that fan turns the right way... (I am sure you know this, and have it right.... but just being sure!) I love having no smog tests!

I'm not convinced to buy it yet... but I may very well... 2.2 short block are plentiful... so that should be fine. debating.

he said if it had been built one month later it would have had the 2.5.. so it's a mid year LSi rare bird I guess. :cool: needs a head gasket and valves he said... he has several subies and I'm positve he knows a 2.5 from a 2.2 he just doesn't have time to fix it.

okay I may have found me a legacy wagon. but I need help... what can you tell me about one called LSi I tried to search but LSi is too small for the search box... I know it's auto 2.2 needs a head 400 dollars is sedona red with tan leather.. what can anybody tell me about the LSi?
