  1. Sort of off topic, but since we're on the subject: I just completed the EJ205 coil pack conversion on the EJ20G, but they might be STI coils in which case the boots are too short. It's also been suggested by SuberDave and others that I re-gap my plugs down to a maximum of 0.030 in. Stock boost is 14 psi on the V1 WRX Type RA ECU, I have the electronic boost controller's low boost setting dialed in to 10 psi and the high boost set at 14 psi. The engine cuts out at both boost levels. Sounds like I'll be making a trip down to you once I get an ESL board!
  2. I've got a RobTune'd ECU that I'm sitting on while I work through a high load/high rpm cutout issue, but I've been eyeing the ESL board. Who tunes your ESLs? I worry about buying a "standalone" that nobody has worked with before and having to pay for someone to teach themselves on my car...
  3. Fixed it for you... (Currently running an electronic BCS on my V1 WRX swapped RX without issue, but at or below stock boost, for the time being.)
  4. Only with the brown interiors. The blue covers have the opposite problem, only the LH part number is still active...
  5. Would you also mind looking into the hardtop rear window seals at Safelite? I'm going to need one of those too...
  6. Safelite in the US has these gaskets and these are the standard EA81 windshield gaskets?
  7. Same here. Just tried to reorder a smaller quantity. I have left over RH parts, if someone is willing to trade for some NOS LH parts.
  8. My local dealer says the LH side, the -200 P/N is NLA, both in person and via their online portal. They still show as available online, so I tried placing a web order, only to have my order cancelled. I just placed an order from the link above, so we'll see if they cancel this one too.
  9. I regret not spending more time at the show or sharing a brew with you Paul, maybe on my next trip East!
  10. Have you tried cleaning the MAF? I would only buy an OEM MAF sensor, the aftermarket ones just aren't worth the savings, but then again, I pretty much only have turbo'd Subarus.
  11. Any rust or body damage to the vehicle? (Can't view CL at work, hahahaha).
  12. I concur with czny. The reservoir is unique to the EA81T.
  13. Does anyone know the angle/size of the reamer you would use to modify an EA82 control arm to fit an EJ spindle? I've been searching and searching but I must have missed it...
  14. Ahhhh, yeah, it's a washer/bracket combo part, probably still available from the dealer. EA shifters just suck, even with delrin bushings.
  15. Picture of the spring, to jog my memory?
  16. Silicone has high permeability, I'm not surprised you're seeing the sweating.
  17. Jiggs, you ready for a photo shoot of our fraternal twins?
  18. While GD is correct in all his statements, you CAN turbocharge this engine and DD this car, but you'd better have a backup vehicle ready to go. No aftermarket of any substance exists, NOS parts supplies are quickly drying up and even the supply of parts cars is getting thin. The longterm method of keeping these cars on the road is an EJ-swap + 5-lug swap.
  19. There is no such thing as a heavy duty halfshaft for the 4-lug cars because, generally speaking, all the aftermarket or rebuilt axles will fail in short order. Do a search for non-OEM axle reviews and you'll find that people have had to replace "brand new" rebuilt axles over and over again.
  20. Also, I had to clearance my transmission to not tap on the tunnel. Sounds like people have had different experience though.
  21. Used is your only option at this point, I don't think there were ever aftermarket control arms available. The anti-roll bar end links are basically just crimped bar stock on the EA82s, you can fabricate your own without problems.
