  2. HEHEHEHE!!! Thanks :-p
  3. Man, Waukesha lays down the salt like mad!! I wish they wouldn't, I mean if ur little CR-V cant get thru 3ft of snow then buy a Soob :-p I don't think off-roadifying a clean Brat is bad.. Cause look at these Aussie guys, Nice Brats made better, and their not affraid to give it on a hillclimb! -Tom
  4. Geez! That was worse then I expectied. I'm glad you have by-standers to back you, Hope all works out, are you thinking about going to a boneyard for parts or what? btw, hows the X-member? Did it shift with the Control arm? Best'O luck, -Tom
  5. Nice job on getting the Brat, needs a better fender but looks clean! Nice interior, Glad you got the engine back in. Ooo nice GL too! '87? I see ur uncals giving it some love How come you WA guys have rustless Soobs? you get tons of snow, correct? -Tom
  6. Looks like your doing alright! I sooo want Black XT mirrors for my wagon now, Hella supertones are horns? What do they sound like? I didn't know Hella made horns, Cool.. Can't wait to see more, -Tom
  7. Try looking at VHT by Dupli-Color. They have a wide range of paints (Alot for high heat) And cool colors and textures.. VHTpaint.com, you can buy it at mostly any autoparts store. -Tom
  8. Oooo nice! Be sure to post some pics when ya do, Best'O Luck Doug, -Tom
  9. Oh I see, sounds like its gonna be fun! Ooo LSD and rear discs are nice, What "New" motor are you dropping in? Another EA82? -Tom
  10. Thats cool, bout $300 for both.. Anyhoo, you took the Sway bar off, why? I know it doesn't do much, but it takes corners at higher speeds better. You are using this as a road car, right? Won't be going on trails with those tires anyway. Getting close, I spy 5 diffrent colors Lol! -Tom
  11. I love all these vehicles, sad to see them that way though. Nice find -Tom
  12. Yes, T-belts aren't the real issue with EA82s. Like GD said Head castings on the EA82T are poor (Tend to crack between the ports) Plus the HGs are not the best qulity. I real havn't had any issues with the EA82 as of yet, so I like it.. Anyhoo, I believe if you were gonna try and retro-fit some timing sprockets (pretty impossible) the chain needs oil. The stock covers will not work (It would just be a mess) There was a thread on here somewhere with a discussion about this a while ago.. GD, this is like the 100th time I've heard you ramble off the issues with the EA82. Do you ever get tired of write the same info over and over? Lol but it is hard to search the board for specific info sometimes (Like a Datsun in a Nissan lot, hard to spot) :-p -Tom
  13. How can I find out of place(s) like this in WI? I'm dieing to go trail riding, Are there restrictions like having Snap straps, Fire Ex, ect.. on board? -Tom
  14. Totaly agree with Bill, Don't be afraid of using torque on that castle nut and always slide a cotter pin thru one of the wholes. You should be hearing some noise when its coming loose (Early warning) so no, I don't see subaru Hubs being weak. Check those things over and your good to go -Tom
  15. I remember when my front fenders looked like that, right from SUBARU? I did.. Looks nice with the 15s, Keep it goin! -Tom
  16. +100 Zap! Hope all gos well tonight for ya -Tom
  17. Oh ok, yes I know about the metel going where it wants with out a first bend to help it along. Hmm, I'll have that sometime (See what I can do) Thanks! -Tom:)
  18. If thread "pitch" is thread type then I would say Toyota and Subaru stud threads might be diffrent. Subaru studs/Lugs are 12x1.25 dunno what Yodas run? Just my $0.02 -Tom
  19. Speaking of such, I was wondering what you use behind the fender to roll the cuts..? I'd like to do the same. Pics maybe? -Tom
  20. OH THAT LOOKS NUTS!!!! I sooo wanted BFG ALL-TERRAINS for my wagon, but they stoped making them in 14"s. its 15"s and up.. I can't wait to see the roof, Something like a Land Rover Defender huh? -Tom Keep it up!
  21. Correct, I might remember seeing Daihatsus (But not many) and yes, that Lexus 2 and 4 door are both Skylines in Japan.
  22. Yes another good example is like in some other countrys you can have an EA82 style car with an EA71! Another is like the '05-'07 Imps, in other countrys they use the 1.8 EJ18, I think Honduras is one country that sells them that way.. Also some models/Brands may not make it to the U.S, like. Daihatsu, Mazdas AZ. Toyotas Hi-Ace, Mitsus Space Gear ect.. Funny isn't it. -Tom
  23. Just De-best Motor
  24. +1 I sent SOA a few pictures and stories of my wagon and they loved it! They were happy to hear a email that was positive and love their cars.. Very warm people that work their (Eveytime I get a response its always nice and sounds like a real person NOT a cold business response. -Tom
  25. Yep, Also these are: USDM "United States Domestic Market" EDM (you guessed it) "European Domestic Market" -Tom
