Simply awesome.

Nice, I like it. Even with those wheels and tires (which I think work for it) and all the dirt, grime and primer, I would easily put that in my list of top five hatches. Screw practicality. Without it we wouldn't have sport bikes and super cars.

Awesome to see progress again. I need to make a trip over and check it out in person again sometime. Btw, how much space is there between the top of the car and your garage ceiling?
-
Hahahaha There aren't enough to be my yard. Plus, the grass isn't 5 feet tall.

I've got a damaged driver side silver fender I can donate. You can have the silver damaged driver door too. (Yeah, I just don't want to pay to get rid of them. :-p)

It is unbearably ugly for one reason: The windows are at different angles and heights. Although, it doesn't really help that they added 100% curve to 99.9% boxy.

Good looking build and good looking Brat. Should make for a great combination. I still get a kick out of swapping 200k+ engines into a car and thinking nothing of it. Long live the EJ22. Naw, they're EA81 wagon. You can see the curve on the back wheel.

CT Cookout July 25th.A West Coaster will be here.

I'd show up, but I got a pretty threatening message from John telling me he'd steal my Brat and beat me up in some sort of "Deathmatch," if I did. I think it had something to do with Jess, I'm not sure of the details really. Oh well, we'll see if he's cooled down my next year. (Yeah, I think that excuse will do nicely. :-p) -

Although, you should have. :-p Eeps, those are beautiful! -
Well, it sounds like there are some options for RX/3 doors. I hope you can get into another one soon! Mine was a AWD auto with no air. I loved it too and planed on doing an STi swap some day. Now I'm just going to chop it up and use parts for my Brat and XT6 though. Won't be worth enough to anybody to make selling it whole worth my time.

Well, I have an 87.5 XT-T with because it self destructed 260 miles after Turbone and I did head gaskets, full reseal and replaced pumps (thus the +1 trillion). I'm entertaining the thought of getting rid of it because it's one more major project than I can handle right now, or for the forseable future.

Brat -- Does a tall Gen 2 style topper exist??
Psyko replied to AveryRadBrat's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
I/my dad have three of them. A black and two whites. Not to get rid of though... Sorry. We've never actively sought them out. So yeah, they're around. Keep looking. -
My dad saw a parts Lego, with rear end damage, in Cheney, WA the other day, but, when he inquired, he found out it was already sold. I'm just wondering if anybody on here managed to snag it up. We were eying it to fix up some front end front end damage on my sisters Lego, so I figured I'd see if it is part of the USMB family.

Face it Rob, you'd succumb to the madness too. No need to fight it. Nice pics Connie. I love seeing Subarus without rear bumpers. They just seem to look extra cool like that. And way to keep the progress up! I wish I could say I'm doing the same. :-p -
Biggest thing I ever towed. Did fine until a large hill and the 100+ weather forced us to pull over for a cool off.

COOL WHEELS they're hard to get now days

No. If he did, I'd be constantly pestering him to sell them to me. (Plus, the RX is 5-lug now.) -
I've got an '85 4 speed D/R Brat and the best I ever saw was 31 highway and 27 city. Like Team CF, that was with a stripped down Hitachi. My latest number is a whopping 17 city (didn't do any highway driving and haven't driven it in a while) thanks to a tall topper, winter gas, screwed up Weber, RWD and oversized 14" rear tires. Basically, I've done pretty much easy thing I can think of to make my Brat heavier and less efficient. :-p

That was nice.

The front tire looks tiny in the last picture. :-p Oh, and fun!
