I haven't done it yet, but just make sure you change the headgaskets in that EJ25 before you drop it in!!

I have found that Outbacks ride much better than regular Legacy's, but the Legacy's handle better. It would be sweet if you got it lifted though!!

I welded mine in. Some people make brackets so they can bolt them in. I still haven't installed the head rests, but I was going to weld on some brackets for that. And I don't have the belts, so I couldn't tell ya!!

Great job, so far!! Yeah get an new rear bumper cover, and sand that dented spot and paint it, just so it doesn't rust too bad. Looks good though!!

That's nothin!! Come out to Maine and take a look at the older Subarus we have!! I have seen and repaired worse rust than that. Just cut out all the rust, and weld in new metal!!

There is a chance you could do it that quickly. A lift would definitely make it happen. I have changed a tranny and clutch in an hour and a half by myself with a lift and air tools. But it took my about 7 hours to change a tranny in my Brat on the jack stands, and air tools
