  1. Is there a return address??
  2. I want it!!! I wish I had a bit more money and you were closer!
  3. The EA82's also rust in the rear seat belt mounts. Around here anyway. There are literally only a few left on the roads around here. Good job with saving one!!
  4. How much snow did you guys get? We just got over a foot here.
  5. Just saw this thread. Congrats on the purchase, I know you ad been looking for one for a while. I bet it's fun!! I know I love my FXT. Big improvement over the RS!!
  6. nice!!! make sure you post lots of pics
  7. Looks awesome!! That thing must stop really well with 2 pot front calipers!!!
  8. I have a 99 Legacy L sedan. I already have Outback struts on it, so I would be looking at a 2" lift that includes 2" blocks for everything, not just the strut tops, and obviously a steering extension to work with the 2" drop. Can you pm me a price on that? Thanks
  9. sorry, but mine are brand new, and they measure between 26 1/2 and 26 3/4. All tire manufacturers are different when it comes to tire size. I have found that with many tires.:-\
  10. When replacing dead air struts with regular gas struts, can you use the strut top from the air struts on the new struts or do you have to get non air strut tops? Thanks BTW this is a 93ish Legacy
  11. Yeah and those are the ones that measured 26 1/4 when they were new
  12. I'm putting a set of 205 75 15's on my Brat with a 3" lift. But they only measure about 26.5-26.7" tall. I fit 26.25" tires with a 2" lift in the front and just the torsion bar cranked in the rear, so I'm pretty sure the extra little bit will fit fine
  13. Frankenmotor would be sweet!! Thanks. My Forester is a ton of fun. I'm running STi stage 2 right now, with lots of other mods as well. It's an on going project as yours is......
  14. That thing looks awesome. I'd love to do this kind of project someday
  15. Looks real clean!!! Keep it that way. Nice car
  16. D/R means dual range tranny

    I fit 27's easy with a 3 " lift on my Brat
  18. Thank you!! There are many stories of issues with the strength of the 4 spd.
  19. The 4spd is a lot longer than the 5 spd, and not as strong. Not really worth it IMO
  20. ^Actually the Brat has the same wheelbase as the wagon. I have a 5 spd swapped into my Brat and I just used the driveshaft that came with the 5 spd tranny. Perfect fitment.
  21. Yeah the 4 spd tranny crossmember and driveshaft and the 5 spd one are completely different. But the 5 spd is a much better tranny!!
  22. The tranny will bolt right up to the motor. You can't just change the bell housing anyway. You will need to modify/make a crossmember. And the linkage can be modified to work. You will also need a 5 spd drive shaft, which means you'll need to weld on center bearing mounts. This swap has been done may times, and there are write ups on it.
