  1. I modified EA82 mounts to fit my EA81
  2. They work great for the newer ones that they are made for!! I have been running the Jackson Rally version for a while on my 2000 OBS with no issues
  3. If it is the right bearing, you will need 2 of them
  4. Yeah just use the bushings that are attached to it, but I'm pretty sure the mounts will be different.
  5. I agree, if you don't do crazy ************ and expect it to be a drag car, they will last a very long time!! I know a few with well over 200k with the stock tranny and stage 2
  6. The 02-05's were the "glass tranny" but then they upgraded to the Forester XT type tranny in 06 which are much stronger!!
  7. I usually use fishing line and kind of "saw" through the adhesive, then use an adhesive remover to get the rest off
  8. Wow, now that is interesting!! Must be a little noisy indie the car!!
  9. I'm sure it's possible with work, but not a direct swap
  10. That looks awesome!! Great work. Man that thing will be low!!! The wheel is pretty tucked already and thats without weight on it!!
  11. Swampers don't usually do all that well in the snow. They do fine off road in the snow, but not very good on the slippery roads

  15. jacksonrally makes these kind of kits, and they work very well
  16. As for the exhaust gaskets, seems thats one thing Napa has a hard time with. I have ordered a few doughnut gaskets from them, and they have all been a little off
  17. Very nice!! Have you gotten your STi yet?
  18. I have nothing bad to say about the Forester XT. I have one, and have a few friends with them and they are all great cars. Just make sure all the scheduled maintenance is done!!
  19. It's junk, you should sell the car for 200 bucks to me:grin:
  20. When I put an EA81 into my EA82 with 5 spd dual range I used all the EA82 clutch stuff, and it all worked great
  21. It may a bit of a drive but drive to Auburn Maine and go to Evergreen Subaru. They are awesome!!!!!
  22. I think he means shim out the top of the strut mount, but that would do nothing, the bushing would just flex and not push the top of the tire out at all. Hmmm, what the hell could it be!?!
  23. Haha, thats awesome^^^ Who woulda thunk it's in the encyclopedia
  24. Hey I just thought of something. Make sure the rear lift bock has not moved or shifted at all on that side, if it has, it may cause it to sit different
