  1. Yes there were USDM Legacys that had air suspension.
  2. From my experience so far the NAPA Maxdrive will last a lot longer than 25k. I have not seen one fail yet. The only issue I have see with them is on a lifted EA82, but that is pretty normal for just a strut lift.
  3. I have had very good luck with NAPA Maxdrive axles. They are new and have lifetime warranty.
  4. Wow that thing is awesome!! Looks like you did some great work, and customization. More pics of the engine bay!!
  5. I know the boots go bad more often because the cat is right there, so it gets hot. But it also makes a difference of what quality axles you are putting in there. Are they new or rebuilt?
  6. The guy who started this thread "Pooparu" makes them
  7. Awesome!! Hope it goes great. Looks like the inside of the motor in my Brat. Super clean!!
  8. That's cool, this one is a member from a local forum in my area. Awesome car, seen it in person!!

It may be an aftermarket cruise control set up, because that is definitely part of the system.
  10. bratman18 replied to 88Subi4x4's topic in Off Road
    Yes it's cruise control
  11. That thing looks mean!! Great job

Been a while but I got a few more little things done, and some new pics!! These are from a recent group drive through the White Mountains area of New Hampshire......
  13. Thanks. Yeah I actually gotta get some new pictures loaded up.
  14. That thing looks great sitting up nice and high!!!
  15. Looks great!!!!!!
  16. I have had a lot of luck with Max drive axles from NAPA. They are about 100 bucks, and I have never seen one fail. I have seen a couple issues on lifted older rigs, but never a stock car
  17. Most likely means you need to change your valve cover gaskets and the grommets that go around the plugs as well.
  18. That sucks!! Luckily they are easy to change!!!! Make sure it's not the intake gaskets!!
  19. Actually not sure. Yes you were pulling on me, but you had a much better run and actually started in the right gear. I failed at climbing that hill:lol: Also, mine has bigger tires and wheels!!
  20. I used to have one. I miss that car, and should have never gotten rid of it, it was mint with no rust at all. Nice find!
  21. I know that my Brat goes a lot better than most of the other old Subarus I've had. And it doesn't have an original BRAT motor in it. I have always thought it was because of the light weight, I mean, I can lift the rump roast end of my BRAT by myself, must be pretty light
  22. These pics, and the fact you've fixed everything make me miss it!!
  23. my 89 had auto belts, it doesn't anymore, but that's what it came with
  24. Are your tires balanced?
  25. That's insane!!! You can easily pick up a knock sensor for less than 100, and then at most it's 30 minutes to change. Sounds like something is going on!!
