  8. So i'll be driving down the road, turn on my blinker and start to apply the brakes, then a very faint beeping starts, it beeps in equal intervals so its not a random noise. anyone have a clue what the hell it is? Sometimes it wont happen at all, but most of the time...I have checked my lights thinking it was a warning or something, but they seem fine.:-\

  11. Im guessing the straight six true story? lol sounds cool
  12. It may have something to do with the pvc valve(purge control valve) Dont take my word for it, need someone to verify, but i have been told that the pcv valve evacuates pressure in the tank?
  13. the previous owner of my subie had a fram oil filter on, and oh boy did those valves tick, got a nippon filter and went away within miles. sad to see fram turn into a crappy wal-mart brand.
  14. Hope yall are takin pictures!!!!
  15. Youll Have a giant cloud of blue smoke coming from your exhuast everytime you accelerate, pretty hard to miss hehe. trust me >.<
  16. Herculiner would look super cool and tough, but keep in mind that its not going to bounce sun rays off(low albedo) so if you live in a hot climate it may not be the best choice.

Depends on weather or not the GL is a 5 speed dual range tranny, if its an auto dont bother. 27-28 tires are a good size, any thing higher then that and you lose alot of power. the ea82 1.8 isnt known for power but its tough and gets the job done. ej22 swap in the future if your a good back yard mechanic.
  18. Speaking of, anyone know the regulations in WA state for driving without doors? If it is illegal, would simple tube doors be legal (like the ones on the blue brat on sjr's site)
  19. Sounds like one hell of a mud run, if you aint breakin it, you aint mobbin hard enough.
  20. Seran wrap and duct tape.
  21. To my understanding the cat is need on SPFI engines for backpressure, or thats what ive been told by countless people. Only thing stopping me from having the loudest subie in town.
