  1. Sorry for the delay, here's the link. Right Click > Save as: http://www.twistednipple.com/cars/Flowmaster.MOV
  2. Hard to tell from the pics, but it doesn't look to be rusty. Sort of a waste.
  3. I can host the video for you. Send it to spanky_pete@twistednipple.com
  4. It doesn't get that cold here thankfully, though I did put the clutch in my hatch during a fricken hail storm.
  5. Looks like a real brat to me, it's a poor quality picture though. I can't believe people are bidding on it based on that lone pic though. :-\
  6. Very cool, thanks for sharing the vids. I know what you mean about the convenience of having your trails right in the back yard. It still sucks walking back home to pull your rig out of the goop if you break it or it gets stuck.
  7. The area that it's in definitely is a big factor in what they're worth. I personally have never paid more than $300 for any of my Subarus(except for the WRXs obviously) and every one was roadworthy and in fair to decent shape. Last week a nice looking XT down the road was sent to the crusher because the owner didn't want to do the heads. I was given an '81 wagon yesterday that the guy just dropped $500 in less than a year ago, the only problem? It was old he bought something else and needed a battery. If you personally believe he's offering a good deal, don't let it go. It may not be there if you change you mind.
  8. A hatch is going to be ea81 powered, which means no timing belts. A major bonus when considering tune-ups. Edit: Oh and none of mine have ever had that engine light. Maybe it's just a ea82 thing?
  9. I paid $150 for mine and it sounds like it's in better shape than that one. Of course I did have to drive 900 miles to pick it up.
  10. Plug wires that have to be built are the devil. I made a set of those up once for the inline 6 in my truck, what a pain in the okole. In the end none of them turned out correct and I had to throw them out.
  11. I wouldn't call that a 'major' facelift. The basic looks are still there, and in my opinion, it's not really an improvement. It does sort of lean towards the looks of the B9 front end. I really hope the latest Impreza facelift doesn't head this direction.
  12. Thanks for keeping us updated as you plug along on it. Who knows, by the time you finish your install I might have enough money to order mine.
  13. Congrats man, you've made a good choice. Just be careful if you start modifying it, they empty your pocketbooks in a hurry.
  14. Yup, looks just like the silver wagon I pass on my way to work. Although yours appears to be in better shape.
  15. Yeah, definitely glad someone on the board picked this up. Bummer that my wife vetoed a trade I was going to make for it. That's a sturdy looking little hatch.
  16. Holy crap that's hilarious. Glad he didn't get violent when he was discovered. I guess he must have been a Subaru fan. lol
  17. I'm in no way recommending this sort of action, but I drove my hatchback from Idaho almost 1100 miles back to my place in Washington with _no_ plates on it whatsoever. When I got pulled over in Boise I just played dumb and got away with it.
  18. I like it but the stickers on the doors seem a little funny. Are they actual stickers or magnetic ones? If it was me, I would put them on the rear quarters just below the pinstripe. Not that anyone is really going to see them as it goes flying by.
  19. Bah, you can just do what everybody in Oahu does. Snag the stickers from your neighbors cars in the middle of the night. I too am glad I live in an area with no inspection what so ever.
  20. Nice, I'm definitely going to go that route now, thanks. No biggie on the pics, just curious to see it.
  21. You guys have way too much fun. Definitely makes me wonder if the mountain trail by my house is thawed out enough to make a run at it yet.
  22. Yup, I'd go with the do it yourself route. It's really cheap and easy to do. I'm going to be building one that will double as a mount for my new intercooler.
  23. There's a silver wagon like that one sitting in a carport on my way to work every morning. The guy that lives there can't drive anymore, he'd probably let it go cheap. I've never stopped to check on it myself, I don't really need any more subies.
  24. So it went on with no mods needed to the adapter then? I've been thinking about going the ebay route but wanted to see how it worked out for someone else first. Any pics of it on the car?
