  1. Someone can correct me on this one, but since it's a 2wd there won't be any adjustment to be made to the rear. Ordinarily, there is a rubber grommet under the back seat that gives you access to the adjuster.
  2. My WRXs get plenty muddy just trying to get in and out of my new driveway lately.
  3. Yeah it's real, but it does keep people guessing. I'm heading up North for a few days, so if I don't post the link right away it's not because I've forgotten about it. I should still have access to my server from where I'm staying.
  4. I can host it, send it to: getbent (at) twistednipple.com
  5. Hehe, I'm sure someone has been out looking to see if it was still there by now.
  6. Saw a white RX sitting on the side of I-5 Northbound just past the Maytown rest area yesterday. Looked like it had been there for a few days, hope it doesn't get towed. Looked like it was pretty decent. If it belongs to anyone here, let me know if you need help with it. -Chris
  7. Contrary to the posted opinion, you're getting a lot more car for that extra 10k. Yes older subarus are indeed incredibly reliable, but I would definitely recommend buying newer. The 2.5l Outback and Foresters are great cars, with most of the their troubles behind them in their current revisions. I've driven both and the weight savings going with a Forestor instead of an Outback(Legacy Based) gives you a little extra 'pep' from the 165hp motor. If you're looking for a little extra power, a used WRX wagon can be had in the 15k range too.
  8. This site doesn't delve into WRX stuff too much, you might want to head over to NASIOC.com and have a look around. I've installed aftermarket uppipes and downpipes and ECU reflashes on mine. Makes a huge difference in power, imo.
  9. My WRX does 95+ in 4th gear all the time. Then again, it's only got four gears.
  10. Feel free to use any of the logo ideas I uploaded. I can also help out with the WCSS site if there is anything you need. Will register as soon as I can get the wife to commit to getting those days off.
  11. Speaking from experience of having sold through ebay before; he lost money on it once he pays the seller's fees. He had a legitimate offer for $3500 from here and passed it over. I hope it is going to a good home. :-\
  12. I use fine steel wool to take overspray and rust off of chrome all the time.
  13. I'm running a set of 'Walmart Special' Douglas X-trac M+S 185/80/13s on my hatch right now. They get me out of plenty of situations, but for real offroading you're going to want to go bigger. Oh and they were $23 a piece when I got them.
  14. Cool, nice grab on that one. I was watching it too but decided I didn't need another car sitting around.
  15. My WRX is also an automatic, if you drive the car hard at all you're going to want to install a transmission cooler on it. And, switch over to synthetic fluids at the first scheduled maintenance. I actually learned how to drive stick on my wife's WRX.
  16. It seems to me that you're talking about the hose that attaches to the top of the injector that the hard line slips into. That piece is not replaceable without installing a whole new injector. I also have one that has a small puncture in it, if you can seal it temporary it will be ok until you can get replacements.
  17. I'm also about to begin an IC install on my ea82t; any tips, info, specs, and insults welcomed.
  18. "Hello Peter, what's happening? Listen, are you gonna have those TPS reports for us this afternoon?" Sorry couldn't resist. Take a look over at subaparts.com too for what you need.
  19. I saw one last week sitting on the shoulder of I-5 in Chehalis with a Oregon dealer plate on it. It was sort of a maroon color.
  20. Is that a gouge in the end of the crank? Edit: also looks like that dist. cap was busted for a while. Don't know if I'd trust that disty to be any good. Otherwise it's a pretty clean looking ea71.
  21. I like the font you used for WCSS7 better than my stencil font, but the smaller text below it is hard to read clearly. The colored topography background would look real good on ads and whatnot. There's my 2 cents.
