  1. Will the 180 diff fit the early soobs? Must be stronger. The ideal situation would be if the diff was stronger than the axel and it was the weak point. The axel is probably the easiest rear component to change or maybe better the rear driveshaft?
  2. Thanks Rob, Could I get the damping force too? Is that from the '86 manual? Thanks!
  3. Did you mail me again? I got the one about the TB. Do you have a '86 manual? Thanks
  4. I hoping somebody can supply me with the folowing info: Section 4-1, suspension specs, GL-10 Turbo Sedan, Coefficient of springs, Front? Rear? Damping Force Front? Rear? Thanks!
  5. :slobber: :slobber: :slobber:
  6. Is that for a set? CHEAP!!! I knew K-Mart would have em!
  7. Did you need to explain to the Ford driver, It's OK, this is a SUBARU! Looks like fun:D
  8.    That deserves more than one nana!
  9. Maybe this could go into the USMB service manual? Racing section of course:brow:
  10. RallyRuss is on the right track. Having rplaced many Soob starters, I can tell you that when the contacts inside, near the big red wire get funky, it's all over, no nothing. If it's the selenoid, the starter will still turn over but not engage the flywheel.
  11. That hose doesn't come by the foot, it's a molded hose, get a OEM unit.
  12. Maybe not the whole time, Probably OK when the small tire is on the inside of a corner. hehe
  13. You talking auto or manual?
  14. Yep, there was a little snow here this morning, didn't stick tho. Snow all around sticking, North and South.
  15. Right on guys, I'm glad to hear someone came make it and hopefully give them some input.
  16. No matter how you look at it, that thing is just plain COOL! I WANT ONE!
  17. If yur serious, the AC should be the first thing to go, that stuff is heavy and robs power. That will give you more incentive to run with the sun roof in the trunk (no! leave it at home, save more weight!) and feel the wind in your hair.
  18. Tim, can you post a pic? I would love to see it!
  19. Corky, is yours the EJ22T? What's the difference between the EJ20G and the EJ22T besides the displacement? Which engine did the USDM Legacy's come with?
  20. Hello! I have a set of gen III heads, no cracks. I would trade for a set of these 14" X 6", SMSG (Subaru Mortorsports Special group) magnesium alloys: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/80s/wheels2/rally-1-14x6.jpg or these: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/80s/wheels2/rally-2-14x6.jpg Here's what they look like mounted: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/80s/wheels2/rally-2-mounted.jpg Thanks, Mark.
  21. In '85 all turbo wagons had the 3AT with selective 4wd (non full time) In '86 and '87 the 3AT was available as a option to the 5 speed.
  22. Depends on the year of the car. In '87 all Full Time cars were 5 speeds. In '88 all Full Timers were GL-10's (5 speed standard or 4EAT optional).* In '89 in could be either. The Full Time GL came standard with a 4EAT (Full Time 5 speed not available in the GL) In the GL-10 it (4EAT) was available as a option (5speed standard). As a side note, all '90 Loyale Turbo Full Time 4wd cars had the 4EAT, '89 was the last year for the Full Time 5 speed in the EA82. * Except RX. This information taken directly from the factory sales brochures, these list standard and optional features, exceptions are possible.
