  1. So what time aroe you gonna try to be up here on Monday Brian? 10? We should meet at PnP then.
  2. OK I got one. Clean: Dirty: Difference in tire:
  3. So does this mean no more wcss's for Zap? It IS hard to get everyone together due to schedules and things, too bad we couldn't all work in the same profession and all have the same days off. Oh well, we do the best we can.

I went with the byb 4/3" kit and enjoy it a lot.

I really couldn't tell ya. I didn't track the mileage very well due to the fact the car had lots of "issues" getting up there and back. Ya know I might've got about the same though actually, about 230 miles to a tank. after I got back we swapped engines and I was only getting about 150-175 miles to a tank. It sucks though, I ran it out of gas a few times cause the fuel guage doesn't work. The low fuel light USED to come on, letting me know when to fill up, but now it doesn't even do that. The next time I run up that way, I'll keep track better for ya.
  6. Sorry Dave, I'm sick right now. I prolly won't go to work tomorrow.
  7. Yeah I think we want to hit up the yard here for some stuff, then some wheelin fun!
  8. I t could work, it just depends on how much time and effort you want to put into it. Garner did an ea82T swap into his 79 brat, so that woulod work. He had to cut the frame rails a bit to work on the valve covers easier. Other than that you'd need to change a whole lot of stuff, if you're gonna keep the stock brakes you'd need to have custom axles made. Sorry I can't be of any more help, I haven't done this swap yet.
  9. I've installed a few sets of seat covers onto my ea81 seats (including some hot wheels ones:brow: ) and I haven't had any problems with them fitting. Not too sure about the xt seats though.

The "low pro" wheels are US Wheels 70 series 15x7 6x5.5 bolt pattern with 3.75" backspacing. I got them from summit racing for like 21$ or something. The Big ones are US wheel 75 series 14x6 with the same bolt and backspacing. they were like 30$ each.

OK here's a pic that should benefit BOTH offroaders AND the lowrider crowd:
  12. yeah we should be doing something. I've been talking to Jeremy and he says he might be able to join us tomorrow afternoon. I was also talking to Scrub2K and he says he could wheel too maybe. So are you in Dave? I might want to hit up the Carson Yard sometime tomorrow morning, haven't been there in a while. Either post here, or I'm sure we can call you as well. As for the 5th, I could MAYBE get that day off if you want, we could do somethin.
  13. Yeah I took it down to have more space for more pics. I could give it to TheSubaruJunkie maybe tomorrow and see if he can upload it into his server.
  14. So how much clearance do you have under the diff?

They're holding up great! The catch rattles a little, but I'm getting used to it. It's gonna rain here tonight so I tarped the seats. (More to save the nice seats that Thesubarujunkie sold me that anything else.)

I do still have the swampers, I am just too lazy to put them back on. Plus, I have to buy new pads for this set of rear discs I have and then I'm gonna swap them on as well as new shocks, THEN I'll throw the swampers back on and leave them that way for a LONG while. Sorry for disapointing the offroad crowd by offroading "low-rider" style.
  17. Garner had some for his 79 Brat, you might want to browse through his picture gallery to see them.

It depends, most places have ORV parks that you can pay to enter. Otherwise, Forest service roads and blm land are usually good places to find some cool roads
  19. Who needs flex when its SO much fun getting 3 wheel action?
  20. Ok Here's a few new pics:
  21. Good job, it's nice having options after the swap.

I wanted to do something like this with the brat, in case it rained while camping, but instead of covering the car, I'd have a tarp come off one side of the car maybe at a 45 degree angle or something. Haven't thought too much about it as winters a comin and I don't know that I'm gonna do a lot of camping, but I'll check back later with ideas.
  23. Yeah, they were only offered on 1982 models (some 81) and are operated by a switch underneath the blinker lever on the dash.
