Hello all, As you can see from my signature i will soon be the proud owner of a sweet 92 Legacy SS.....more on that later.....i will be driving from denver to portland, OR which is rougly 1300 miles....so needless to say i want to save on gas. It has a boost controller and was wondering are there any ill effects to turning the boost all the way down? will i get better mileage?? thanks guys Cory

yeah its pretty easy...we removed the radiator from our impreza and did a flush on the radiator too...(if you go that route search for the radiator flush thread that is so popular around here....any how that gives you a lot of room..its pretty easy...like andy jo said you just have to rig yourself a little tool to keep the pullys from turning while you are getting them off....i would do the A/C and Accesory belt at the same time....hope this helps

Just remembered, EJ25 Flywheel and clutch fit 2.2 engines no problem....but you need to keep them matched..(ex. 2.5 flywheel, needs 2.5 clutch and visa versa) Hope this helps people searching

You may use the 2.5 flywheels and clutches in your 2.2...beware if you get a 2.5 flywheel...you need a 2.5 clutch.... I am using ACT's light flywheel and a stockish exedy clutch....works great Lightweight flywheels are very nice your RPM's shoot up quick....its nice...but the ride is a little rougher... Cory

if you clean and oil them properly, i dont see them letting in that many particles -
Just for people searching around this maybe helpful. Also within a few weeks i will have full write ups on these modifications at www.ccc-store.com/subaru 1. Front and Rear Seats are interchangable between GC8 impreza and 90-94 Legacy seats. Good way to get fold down seats for your impreza. 2. Legacy swaybars will fit impreza's, but not the other way around. Got a beefy one off of a 90ish sedan 3. Rear discs from legacy will swap out drums on an impreza. Need spindles from donor car. 4. Trannys are interchangeable from almost any subaru as long as the final drive matches rear diff...takes some electrical cleverness hope this helps anyone searching...check out my site...its being built

Hey guys...looking for a couple of things 1. Rear Vented rotors and semi metallic pads for my impreza...well the rears are from a 94 legacy...Cheap is best...even if i dont get the rotors the pads would be great.. 2. A rally vent...not a dumb scoop but the flush mount vent that seals and you open up and such....cheap is best on this one too Think thats it for now.. Bye

Obviously she didnt have her chrono computer set...or was not traveling at the needed 88 miles per hour Because obviously she would have been sent traveling through time But seriously the lightning bolt hit the windshield wiper, which vaporized it cracking the windshield. Either the impact or electrical surge caused the airbags to deploy....

Thanks for the answers....that is good news I have already done a AT/MT swap but i was dumb and didnt do a rebuild while i had the MT out and now the bearings are howling....so i picked up this nice tranny.... the reason i am asking these questions is one i dont want to have to get a new drivline and shift linkage....and i do enjoy the cable setup its much simpler and easy to adjust so if anyone can confirm that you can make a hydraulic setup on the tranny swap to cable let me know...i would like it better and would save me lots of $$$ Thanks Cory
