  1. Use the red you have- not the black
  2. SorryOk with a .31mm or .0122 feeler gauge between the throttle stop and the throttle lever. Rotate the tps switch untill you get continuity between pins a & b (the top 2 pins of the 4 on the switch plug). Tighten the adjustment bolts. When you open the throttle all the way, there should be no continuity.

  7. Thoughs bolt stubs are or would have been a good candidate for welding nuts to the stubs and they more than likely would have turned right out. Craven
  8. Have you tried L/H drills? I've used Helicoils before, after someone monged up the hole so bad you couldn't just tap new threads. Why would it do it again? If you use never-seize when you put it back togeather, there should be no problem. Craven

  11. That my friend is why you try everything and anything but an e-z out. Now your stuck with a piece of hardened steel in the hole, that you can't drill through.
  12. Do you have any pics. of the damage from this little FUPA. If the hatch won't close you might have some major structural damage. I've got a very nice door and quarter glass, but shipping would killer.
  13. By the way it sounds, you need more than just parts.
  14. Some yards are like that. They think all their stuff is made of gold. Then others just want to move the parts and you can get great deals. Then sometimes it depends on the day, could be good one day and s**t city the next.
  15. If it were me, I'd give this stuff a try. http://www.autobarn.net/heruvtopprot.html?AID=10274001&PID=613288 You might be able to find it local at a parts store, that sells HERCULINER products. Craven

  17. Didn't you say that your mechanic had replaced all the seals and stuff? Sounds like the valve cover gaskets are leaking, easy fix less than $10 in parts. Find yourself a real mechanic. Could you post some pics. of this crack, your talking about? Craven
