  1. I don't think it should be that tight. Did you take out and compress the tentioner before putting the new belt in?
  2. The 2wd axles have smaller CV and DOJ joints then the 4wd axles. If you had to you can substitute one for the other.

  4. Yeah you probably are, that sound usually indicates a low fluid level.
  5. Looks like I won't be there, I still don't have my legacy all back together yet. I may show up later in the day while on a test drive.
  6. Maybe I missed this earlier but have you compaired voltage readings at the battery vs. at the starter? I mean, when you're cranking the engine, is there a significant difference in the reading at the battery compaired to a reading taking at the starter. If there is, then there is probably a problem with the battery cable.
  7. If your still using the stock ECU you may want to see if there are any stored codes in it.
  8. Yahoo!! persistence dose pay off. I'm in 4th overall in prod.
  9. grr, the transmission is hung up on one of the aligment pins. Look like I have to wait till tomarrow to finally drop it.
  10. there are so many posts on this subject that I could take a while to search through them to get the info I need. so I'll just ask and see if someone could answer it or send me a link to the answer. i need a complete list of what parts to get from an xt6
  11. I'm in the middle of a clutch job; I plan on taking the flywheel off and replacing the rear main seal while I'm at it. Dose anyone have the torque specs for the flywheel bolts. I don't want it to fly out going down the road but I don't want to torque it uneven enough to warp it either.
  12. Well I'll probably be there and I plan on bringing the legacy this time, just to get it dirty for a change. That's if I get the new clutch in this week.
  13. I got it to work by downloading the entire file then playing it. it is a 53MB file
  14. I sucked again, maybe it time to get a different subaru for rallyX. Or maybe I should try loosing 70lbs or both
  15. Well at sometime Subaru had to upgrade the valve springs, on EA82s, because of a lifter pump-up problem, I've been told by a couple of 25+ year Subaru Techs that this will sometimes happen when doing a compression tes. This maybe the problem.
  16. I don't remember being able to see it when I was at WCSS6. I remember being able to see Hood and Adams though
  17. Yeah a '90 Legacy will have 2. One in the Y-Pipe and one in the mid pipe, just behind the flange.
  18. Maybe it stime to fab up a stainless steel lift
  19. That's interesting, The factory alloys that came with mine have a 55mm offset. If I remember right that's the same as the wrx wheels.
  20. I should be there. Why are you bringing the pickle? Is there something wrong with you legacy that I have not heard about?
  21. i've seen a couple before, one red one white. I only got a good look at one of them. it was a MPFI nonturbo 3door d/r 5 speed with basically the same body trim as an rx
  22. It's fairly common to upgrade to a double row radiator on EA82Ts
