  1. If I remember right the thrust bearing is intergrated into the center main bearing and can accept thrust in both directions
  2. okay here they are Big Time 56k Warning i've deleted the links the files are not on my webspace anymore
  3. It may be possible but you may have top use stub axles from an early legacy or possibly a turbo legacy.
  4. You may have to go check out some if the kit aircraft boards and see what they are doing.
  5. From what I've been able to gather, only the EJ15 and EJ16 got the distributor. Maybe the Australian version got one too, since their EJ18s were SPFI not MPFI. From what I understand about the distributor itself, it the basically the same as the crank angle distributor that's found on the later EA82s. So you're not really loosing any electronics. Also the electronics on an EJ engine are not that complex and maybe more reliable.
  6. disconnect the cable from the caliper. If he lever arm on the caliper dose not return to the normal position, you'll have to fix or replace the caliper. If it dose go back to normal, you need a new e-brake cable
  7. You mentioned that you have an oil light. Do you have the correct sending unit for it? since you have a light the sending unit you should have is the small one that screws into the side of the pump not the bottom.
  8. shouldn't be any problem at all. I have a set of tmen on my 94 legacy and they are great. the down side is the tires that come with the WRX really suck.
  9. It sounds like you may have the distributor off my a tooth. Also double check that you have the plug wires in the right spots on the cap.
  10. Mine drives an outback if I remember right and the assistant manager drives and 82GL wagon
  11. Yeah the EA81T used the same or very similar ps pump but there maybe a difference in the bracket.
  12. That's not how it works. Okay, let's make sure you've got everything lined up right. There are three marks on the flywheel that are seperate from the ignition timiming marks. You should have the pointer lined up with the middle of the three. Then on the cam sprockets there's the little hole, On one cam the hole should be at 12 o'clock the other should be at 6 o'clock.
  13. Well the automatic seat belts were a fad during the early 90's. Anyway if you look along the plastic trim of the pillar behind the seat, you'll find a cap/plug near the bottom. If you pull it out, you should see what looks like an internal hex head. What that really is, is a place to manually crank the belt using an allen wrench. There should be a crank on the under side of the armrest of the center counsel.
  14. My first guess would be that one of the limit switches is no longer working correctly and is giving the brain for the automatic should belt the wrong information.
  15. Oh wait it's just the lense that's different, the mounting is probably the same
  16. The blinker will be different, you'll need one from an 85 or 86
  17. no problem, just trying to get it redirected so you can get the help you need.
  18. my guess would be the lack of rust inhibitor that they put into antifreeze.
  19. Even more bad news. That seal has to be changed from the inside of the transmission on eA71 and EA81 transmission.
  20. oh, I zip tied the plug against the cross bar, that way it dosn't flop arround.
  21. Most of the Jamanese truck with a 6 bolt pattern have the 6x140. Take a tape measure with you 140mm is roughly 5.5in
