  1. it sounds like you just need to do some tuning. The weber experts will be able to point you in the right direction.
  2. that's a part of your air injection system for emission control and yes it should be there. In fact there should be one on each head for 84 and later EA81s with 4wd.
  3. I drove by that park a couple of times when I was going to OIT. Too bad there's a rally cross that same weekend.
  4. All of the 2wd EA82s have the same SOA part number, for the clutch kit, the last time I checked.
  5. I have no plans for the weekend. I could come up and take pics
  6. oh, really??? http://usmb.net/gallery/album118/wcss5_11
  7. You may want to refer to this thread http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=15208&page=2&pp=10
  8. You are aware that the filter is nothing more then a wire mesh screen?
  9. I just looked at my FSM. The other horn should be next to the Evap canister
  10. The 2 horns should be right next to each other.
  11. Which horn is not working, the high pitch one, the low pitch one or both? Are you getting +12v to them? Remember on and EA81 and maybe the EA82 too, the horn gets a constant +12v and they are grounded when you push the horn button. If your electrics are working correctly, then try adjusting the pitch screw before you go and replace the horn. The pitch screw is located on the back and has a lock nut. Loosen the locknut, turn the screw and then test the horn. also the horns should be the same or close enough between the EA81 and EA82.
  12. Someone with an EA82 FSM is going to neet to answer that one for you.
  13. It sounds like you have a bad vacuum module on the Transmission and what's happening is transmission fluid is being sucked into the intake. This is a fairly know problem but a simple fix. To make sure that the module is really the problem, pull the vacuum hose of the module which is located near the back of the transmission, on the right side above the pan. If fluid dips out then it's the module and you need to replace the.
  14. I thought you had a Turbo Legacy? Which comes with a VLSD if I remember right.
  15. try here www.rallitek.com but before bolting on more horse power you might want to improve your handling and braking first.
  16. The BPR6ES is what Subaru's came with from the factory before NGK started producing the BPR6ES-11.
  17. I can't make it after all. I forgot about the 22nd being my dad's birthday
  18. The lights comming is sometimes a loose ground wire for the instrument cluster. Check that firs before dropping the money on and Alt
  19. What color paint is on the valve springs? Early EA82s would sometimes develope a lifter pump-up problem that would prevent the valves from fully closing. They switched to a heavier spring that was painted green one end. The early springs were painted red.
  20. Electrical items 1. Fuel pump control unit 2. Turn signal Flasher, 83 and later EA81 dose not use a generic unit. Whole sale at a dealer is still almost $100 for one. Most parts stores can't get them. 3. Blower motor, the resister packs aren't easy to find. 4. If it has A/C get the second radiator fan. 5. Relays and pigtails, A good stock pile of 22amp relays is nice to have. If the drivers seat is in good shape, grab it. Get the y-pipe too An extra hill holder is a good thing to have too.
