  1. I have my internet back and pics to share but my album is limited to 20MB and for this event alone I've got 35MB worth of picture after resising them
  2. Try truning the bolt back and forth, that will get it to free up most of the time
  3. You probably have a bad vacuum modulator on your transmission. When they go bad, they allow transmission fluid to be sucked into the engine's intake.
  4. Did you make sure the float was set right when you put everything back together
  5. Looking good. I do see that Washington let's you get away with a bit higher CO2 then Oregon Dose
  6. yeah around 82 is pretty bad, but my aunts live more in inner SE and it's not too bad. Outer SE around 122nd isn't bad either. The west side is a fair bit more expensive unless you live south of town like in Wilsonville
  7. i have only one thing to say. You get what you pay for
  8. No not maaco, Look in your yellow pages for a local store that sells autobody paint and supplies.
  9. Just goto your local Autobody Paint shop and give them the paint code for your car. They should be able to supply you with more then enough for doing touch-ups. It won't be a perfect match to what's on your car but close enough for what you need.
  10. did you take it for a long enough of a dive to get the cat good and hot before taking the test?
  11. With luck I'll be there. Too bad my class is running in the afternoon when the track will be all torn up
  12. Since you have height adjustment it become more of a challenge since they mount to the seat rails completely then the non adjustable seats.
  13. Well for starters, if you have a 84 4x4 you don't have an O2 sensor or any computer control unless it's got Cal emmisions. If you do have Cal. Emmisions then you should check for trouble codes and go from there. If you don't have Cal. emmisions then there is an idle mixture adjustment. Also check your float level. And when did you give it a tune up last
  14. It looks like I didn't do too bad. 7th out of 13 in production and the #3 Subaru in that class.
  15. I had one of those fall out of an EA71 4wd tranny. After that I had to make a sharp left turn before it would go into 4th
  16. You'll probably have to adapt your existing AC compressor to the EJ engine, because the compressor off of the EJ engine will likely be incompatible with the rest of your AC system.
  17. your transmission appears to be the run of the mill ea82 d/r 5 speed
  18. A picture speaks a thousand words and would make it much easier for us to I.D. your parts.
  19. I've seen that a couple of times. Let me guess, it was the longer of the 2 cams, the one that drives the distributor.
  20. A friend of mine had similar symptoms with his 84 hatch. It turned out that he had a crack in the block; in one of the water jackets that run next to a cylinder sleeve. The sleeve also rotated about 30 degrees and chewed-up the piston skirt. I hope your problem isn't as terminal.
  21. I think flowmaster needs to spend time in a gym and build up some mucles. All I had to do is pull straight up and the rotor slid right off.
