5/8" hose; any parts store should have some for you. Get some GOOD hose clamps. Those wussy spring clamps currently on there are not upto the task after 20 years =P I routed mine like this: Left head into left side of T splitter. Right head into right side of T splitter. Hose from back of T splitter to breather filter. Pulled out PCV valve. Put in a bolt in its place to seal intake manifold. Oh forgot about the hole now open in your air intake snorkel there behind the Throttle Body. Again stuck a bolt in the hole and put a good hose clamp on it. Now all that nasty, oily, mayonaise junk vents out to the breather filter... instead of shooting down my intake manifold and into my combustion chambers!

that's why... he was the only one doing it. I dont have a fancy camcorder of any sorts to shoot film of me offroading. :-\ The only stills you see on here of me were taken by others that I was able to get images from.

1988 GL EA82 SPFI: 145,000 and I blew a head. Over 200,000 now on the chassis. 1991 Legacy L EJ22: 200,000 and I gave it to a friend. He snapped the timing belt and let the city take it away. Guess I got rid of it just in time :-p

I really dunno how long the catalyst in side there is good for. What your mechanic is refering to is the second chamber in your exhuast. I belive its called a resinator? The first big chamber is all one piece from your headers upto the resinator. This is yoru "Y" pipe as we all call it. Its your main catalyltic converter and should be fine. They are really tough buggers. The headers and pipes all around the "cat" will rust away before the actuall cat does. Replacing the resinator should be cheaper and easier than the cat. It unbolts from the Y pipe assembly as its own part. A lot of times they commonly refered to this as your 'mid pipe'. It's the resinator and a long length of pipe back to your muffler. I hope this clarifies your exhaust system and you can make a more informed decision on the work you want done.

Sorry you couldnt make it Tcat. Lots of oil changed. One guy put on a up-pipe. I put on my 'new' hood, skid plate and wipre arm. Jeff has one sweet little "toy barn" as he put it. Was a great event.

You could prolly throw half sand in there and that tranny would be okay Run it and find out. If it shifts poorly or just 'feels' bad to you, drain it and put in the right stuff.

No banjo bolt fittings. They have female fittings at each end of the softline. ID is 3/16" WJM has the hook up on the stainless steel bolt-on softlines but any brake warehouse/shop can hook you up too. I had custom softlines made at a local brake shop.

shoulda kept that old dual range; you can adapt it into your Legacy with the proper parts
