thank you Mudrat
John, I received your first payment of $100. Thank you. Make sure to keep proof/records (as I will also) so there is no mix up when the debt is repaid in full. Thanks again.

Hubcaps necessary?
northguy replied to wallaceg's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXIf you're worried about it, although you shouldn't be, put a thin coat of grease over it. What protection will a hub cap offer?

Shortening shifter in EA82 lifted wagons?
To move it back, you'd have to cut and lengthen the shifting rods to the tranny, and modify the hole in the tunnel in the floor.

Shortening shifter in EA82 lifted wagons?
I cut mine beneath the boot and rewelded it. Easy fix.

Why it sucks to own a subaru.
northguy replied to dino's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXWhy listen to some flunky parking lot attendant? You own a subaru; go wherever you want.

If you have some unbroken, original tailgate clips, I'd love to have them. Cost to 99567. Merry Christmas.

Snow rallycross school in Spokane, WA
Just move up here and drive the Anchorage 500 every day for a winter. You'd get as much out of it. Merry Christmas, Ed.

Calling Mudrat
So John just called and promised to start paying me back $50 every two weeks starting January 1st. At that rate, he'll have paid me back the $720 I paid him on December 11th 2004 somewhere around August 7th, 2006. I look forward to the first payment. It, at least, is a step in the right direction.

Calling Mudrat
Boy do I feel like the stupid high school kid who has been stood up by his date. I waited and waited by the phone, hoping I would get a call, hoping John would come through on his word - even if it's just a phone call - at least that would be a step in the right direction. But no, not even a phone call. If I can't even get a phone call, is there even any hope of ever seeing my money? Any of it?

Calling Mudrat
Gee John, I called you and got no answer so I left a message and my phone number asking you to PLEASE return my call. Imagine my surprise at not receiving a return call. My patience is waning, so please be forthright and answer (simple yes/no , straightforward answers) these questions: 1. Are you going to pay me my $720? 2. If so, when can I expect the payment - lump sum or partial? Please don't be ambiguous - give me a date - a fixed, drop-dead date.

Calling Mudrat
I see John was on today. He seems to be ignoring this thread, and his responsibility/ debt. That really is unfortunate. I had hopes to resolve this without having to result to other means. That's disappointing.
