  1. Ask him if he can drive it to you. That'll tell you volumes.
  2. Favorite feature? The cup holders in my Brat.
  3. Someone just posted a 2.7 for sale lately. Do a search - but first, check the belts. Miles is usually pretty accurate on his diagnosis. (It'd be a whole lot cheaper.) You may even want to contact Miles - he's a travelling mechanic who has done work in Ohio before.
  4. Try the search function on this. Enough has already been said.

Just put a bigger sticker on that door. It'll look like new (or almost).
  6. Just remembered - the product is called Yield.
  7. Edrach sent me some stuff (can't remember the name right now) that is the cat's meow. It's much better than PB Blaster.
  8. I have 3 sets. 1 mags - street tires; 1 steel - winter studs; 1 steel - dedicated off-road tires.
  9. Brad, if this one is going to be your baby, why not just tear it down and build it back up right? Then you'll know there are no potentialities for failure.
  10. Welcome to the board. Hope you enjoy your new ride.
  11. Hey. Welcome to the board. Have a look around.
  12. It'll show up. After all, it's on an island. Where could it possibly get to?
  13. There is no doubt that Mudrat makes a good product (when you can get him to come through for you).
  14. The Suzuki and the Tracker are the same car.
  15. You could determine which side of the glass the crack is on (inside or outside) and then cut, with a glass cutter, an arch from the bottom over top of it by an inch or two, all of the way back to the bottom. Break the cut you just made, and then the crack will be contained and not able to run any farther. Otherwise, you have a broken windshield which probably isn't much of an improvement over what you're replacing. Save your money and have a professional replace it next time.
  16. Find the "mini pad" in the air filter and follow the tube to the pcv valve.
  17. And why not Ohio? Or maybe Missouri? And hey Dr. be careful about the NWT. It's close to AK and the next thing you'll be saying is that nobody lives in that frozen tundra either.
  18. Nice job. I can only hope you can find a good 2.2 for my swap the same way you nabbed the rx.
  19. Why would you need defrost in California?
  20. Look in the USRM and see that you can make adaptors to allow about any configuration of seat to bolt up to existing rails. I have 96 Legacy seats in my Brat(83).
  21. Based on the number of cars I've seen postd from the PA/NY area that have failed inspection due to rust issues, I suspect it isn't all that bad. They are way too critical on the East coast about rust. It's like rust is a 4 letter word to them.
  22. Wow! That's some expensive machining. 5 star would probably have been less expensive. I'd have gladly taken it there for you.
