Has anyone been to "600 Acres" in Solon, IA?
Hey, didn't realized where you were.... there's only about 128 acres actually that can be used now, and the corp of engineers is trying to get the DNR to take it over, and make it into ATV only..... I know people who have take stock vehicles there though. just be careful of the deep sticky mud.... there's a bunch of guys from http://www.iowa4wd.com heading over there the saturday before easter.....

REVISED thread - Never seen this before!
I had the followin situation with a "new" rebuilt axle once. only 200 miles on it... car would jerk violently to the side. felt like it was gonna rip the wheel out of my hands. as soon as I swerved the car back and forth it stopped. I had both front wheels off the ground, and just rotated each tire by hand, while having it in different steering positions. the wheel should rotate smoothly without any "catches" or resistance. my right wheel had a little "catch" in it as it rotated. swerving the car from side to side acted like it was "resetting" the axle joint. turned out there was a problem with the rebuilt axxle, and got it replaced for free....

guys with er27s?
are you still running with the solid motor mounts? what about trans mounts? Tom brings up a good point... since you're still powered from the trans stubs, having the pitching stopper in place is gonna help smooth out putting the power down to the wheels... similar to stopping axle wrap in a leaf sprung vehicle.... if your trans mounts are solid, then not as important... would help cause less stress on thecrossmember mount points, but that's about it.

Weber 32/36 question I need answered PLEASE !
this is fuel inlet on the US Hitachi carbs.... it will screw right into where the Weber fuel inlet is..... in ea81 vehicles, the mail fuel line that comes out of the vapor seperator goes into the main inlet of course. the return line ties back into the metal Y that also connects to the top of the vapor seperator. the third or vent line for the fuel tank is hooked up to the charcoal canister in it's stock configuration. if you get rid of that, it just needs to remain an open ended hose to let air into the tank as you use up the fuel....
