  1. I try. I cant really work on cars anymore as i have a hard time working and I cant be far from Mom. My Dr and I discussed PT for me but we decided taking care of Mom, the house, and the dog are enough PT for me
  2. Well my Mother is bed ridden now, and at one time I could barely walk.
  3. Yes I was diagnosed with a neurological condition that is ever so freakin slowly getting better. Its Myasthenia Gravis. The Justy blew the CVT belt so now I have a CRX along with my outback.

Thats what I was thinking. Its the only rattle in the car but its also hard to find. I am watching ebay as I would just rather replace it as the crack is in a high stress area.

I still have my outback, but I also now have a CRX. The CRX is in great shape (Grandma car) but it has a big broken rear plastic panel in the driver side rear of the car which rattles. I know glue is worthless. Has anyone tried plastic welding these panels. (Subaru, Honda, Ford its all the same plastic)
  6. Did you miss me? My health is slowly getting better so i can type again and think clearly! nipper

  8. I would suggest three drain and fills ( a full flush) Check the transmission mount.
  9. Timing belt wear is more internal then external. If they are worn enough to look bad you dodged a bullet Normally WP can go 1bout 130 more is well maintaned, but it makes more economic sense to do everything at once..
  10. Have you checked the heat shields on the exhaust? Lets chase the simple things first. Does it get louder with speed? How old are the fluids?
  11. try this http://www.justanswer.com/uploads/HammerTime/2006-10-01_185823_Subaru_3.0_outback_tensioner_pic.gif
  12. Better question how old is the timing belt as they usually get replaced at the same time
  13. Check your grounds. This may be more of a coincidence then a cause and effect.
  14. They can be pushers or pullers, Just put it where there is clearance.
  15. Hes sent me pics of it, come down in price somewhat. Hrmm in the photos it looks clean, I just wonder how it sounds running and driving. So an honorable dealership?
  16. Yes they are nuts on that price but for giggles I opened a dialog with them.
  17. I would like some eyes on this http://www.powellmotors1933.com/1993_Subaru_Justy_Portland_OR_264935713.veh Thank you (my dog was in my lap as I typed) My Justy is chewing up its CVT belt so its on borrowed time.
  18. My 26yo Justy I had to replace the radiator! I am thinking of mailing Subaru an angry letter Even more shocking I found it the cheapest on Amazon.
  19. You may be one of the lucky few with a dying Duty C that hasnt done damage yet. Try not to drive it an replace the solenoid asap, otherwise youll be into it for a set of clutches too.
  20. Sounds like its the clutch. If you plan on keeping the car for a while it may pay to invest in a new master/slave/hose for it too and be done with it.
  21. Replace the front calipers as these problems dont just go away with PB Blaster. Also I bet you got some of it on the rotors and pads which is NOT good. Its cheap enough fix it right.
