  1. Ok, thanks Josh. I guess i'll pass on this setup. All the struts on my Legacy are shot Figured i could replace them for cheap. -Brian
  2. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33590&item=2469071463 My suspension is completly shot. I was able to use '00 WRX rear lateral arms, so shouldnt i be able to use the struts as well as the swaybars? -Brian
  3. Mine doesnt make a sound when i hit the buttons. I'll inspect all the wiring sooner or later. -Brian
  4. I dont think its the switch because if one works... they all work. If one doesnt work, none of them will. -Brian
  5. 1992 Legacy Sport Sedan. The sunroof will only operate part of the time. If the car is shut off, sometimes when you start it the switches on the sunroof control will actually work. The roof will open, close, or tilt open. But if I open it, or have it at tilt, and drive for a while, the switch will stop working. None of the buttons will do anything. Before, if I slammed the inner cover shut then it would make the switches work again... long enough to shut the sunroof but now its not working any longer. Anyone else have problems like this before? -Brian
  6. Hrm.... not a laywer either, but im pretty sure unless they were sent to your apartment in search of marijuana, they cannot hold it against you. Since the lady from the DMV called in the complaint, they should only work on that complaint. And unless she called and said "I see people smoking pot, go arrest them" then the weed shouldnt be a concern. Also, it does sound like too many people there know you Miles. If people just look at you, and call the cops then i say its time to get out of dodge and make a new life for yourself in a larger town. With more Subaru's prefferably. -Brian
  7. Thats the biggest reason too Ed Glad to hear it passed!! Wish i could solve my smog problems by removing the emissions crap. I think i need to rebuild my carb tho instead. -Brian
  8. I bought my lights from a fellow USMB member. Got them both for $35 shipped. eBay is a good place to shop too, but some lights do get pretty expensive. I also got some real cheap rectangle lights from Harbor Frieght, they were on special for $3.99 a set, so i got 3 sets. Broke one set while installing them (yes, they're THAT cheap) but have the other 2 sets mounted to my roof rack. The Spotties i got from Subafly (i believe thats who i gottem from) have only worked for me once. Everytime I wire them i end up blowing through fuses or burning through wire. I have them wired up to a relay now and all the fuses should be good... but now the switch is running my fuel pump. The Cheap rectangle lights I got work without a relay, and put out alot more light than my headlights ever did. Pix: -Brian
  9. Its a safety feature to let you know the pump is still working, you should only worry when you DONT hear it heheh -Brian
  10. Any idea which subaru it was? Im sure you could remember the person you sold it to and contact them privatly. Best of luck with it. Whoever owns the car better contact Zap... would hate to be on his bad side. -Brian
  11. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! I wanna get my legacy in the snow before its too late. I wonder if there will be any streets that are iced over in the next couple days. -Brian
  12. Nope, cover charge is $5, im going to support his band, not to freeload His band name is Mr P Chill and the Trunk of Funk. -Brian
  13. Looks like you lifted it. Looks good, almost exactly like the Wagon you sold. -Brian
  14. Yeah, i'll either be comming up on Saturday night or Sunday morning. -Brian
  15. I got a friend who is in a hip-hop band who will be performing in Medford on April 4th. He'll be at the "Music Head" at 350 South Riverside Ave. Anyone know where its at? I figure since I got my new legacy, i should be able to make the trip in 4hrs or less -Brian
  16. Yeah, im aware of seafoam. How do you guys use it? Just add it to a tank of gas? -Brian
  17. That guard looks great Sean! WHat did you guys end up doing to repair it? Is it any stronger now? Those tires look meaty as well, and that rear diff hanger has no chance of breaking on you now! Gotta come back up there to do some more wheelin again. -Brian
  18. So if i read that right... you said you failed and then decided to rip the emissions stuff out to have it re-tested? Good luck -Brian
  19. This is my 1st Turbo'd car... and my 1st EJ engine as well. I was wondering if fuel addatives like FI cleaner or MMO would do more harm than good? Im used to dumping a few quarts of MMO through the carb on my EA81, but that's a whole different engine. I also love the way the engine is running right now, and want to do what I can to ensure it will stay this way. Can anyone give me any tips on upkeep on the EJ22's and the EJ22T? Thanks guys -Brian
  20. Nope, if anything it got smoother. The car floats over bumps, even rides smoother than my '92 Turbo Legacy. -Brian
  21. Well lets see.... Plugs were good, Wires were in order, Wires were good, Nothing came off, Nothing was jiggled loose, Nothing was damaged, Nothing was broken, Nothing was wrong! -Brian
  22. Got one in California that is 98% rust free. See the marketplace, its a '78 in Sacramento. -Brian
  23. I know exactly what your talking about I rembember messing with that on an old subaru i had. I think i used a nail or something to remove that pin, and im almost positive its the bottom hole that has the screw Its a pain in the butt to get to the screw unless you have a small stubby flathead. -Brian
