Pack the bearings tight and leave the space between the bearings open. Room for expansion and no worries about anything else. The write up was very well done, as is! -

Mine has disc brakes and 4.56 gears with a drop out center section. It now resides under my Toyota.
-
No doubt. I can't wait to get mine back together so I can try out the 4.56 gears and lockers front and rear. Mine has a 6" lift and 35's

I have seen many oil pumps and I have to admit to never seeing one with that type of wear. Either no oil or to heavy an oil I suspect to be the issue with that!
-
Crank seals are a given both front and rear. Fronts when doing oil pumps and reaseals. Rears, whenever you do a clutch. To not do it then is foolish.

This is the section you want for those questions. Look around, read the stickies and see the pics. Ken

This will be my next big swap on mine. 4.3 injected is the best way to go. Fits without radiator interference. No heat issues. Some fitment issues but lots of ways around it. I will be starting to collect parts for mine soon.

EA flywheels have a two step flywheel. The mounting surface for the pressure plate and the second step where the disc rides. EA81 and 82's have different depths. Important to have the right dimension when resurfacing the flywheel.

Unless you use an EJ clutch kit. Would really be a waste of time unless you used the EJ stuff.
-
The best holding PP for the 5 sp D/R is from an XT6. Unless you redrill an EJ flywheel and use a pull type clutch from a legacy.

Try again Uberoo. I am getting a bit annoyed with your responses lately. Keep it up and you'll have a lot of time to tear things apart!

Valid points on this issue are between you and the seller. No one else should be involved. They were not there when you bought it. They did not put any money into this transaction. I would not be taking advice from either of them. At this point I think I would have questioned the seller then questioned the transporter. Especially, if it had been moved and a center cap is now missing. They don't just fall off. Any more outside interference or threats and I will personally ban those involved and close/delete this thread. Act like grown-ups or be treated like children! <subscribed> Edit: Trusting people you have never met before or do not know personally is neglegent and irresponsible. Just be cause they own a certain car or play the same on-line game or wear the same colored shirt does not make them trust-worthy. -
Really? Up to this point you were just whining. Now, your just being a wongleflute! Back off and rethink your approach!

Had he taken the high road he would have said... provided the under hood sticker is still in place you will find this information there. .010" intake .014" exhaust And he would have referenced the correct wording. But some just can't rise above their own ignorance. -
Well stated. If one in three people are idiots and your two friends are OK guess what? Yep, your the third person!
-
Had that been the case I doubt these words would have been used... And, if he had come here looking for help he would have checked back to see if anyone had any info to offer. For an example of how to post about a stolen vehicle check out audiofiles post. He posted it was stolen and asked for help finding it. I feel bad for him that his car was stolen. But, if he did have footage it would also have a time stamp on it. There would not be speculation as to when exactly it was stolen.

It could.
