  2. Call Jason @ Scarff Subaru. Tell him Ken sent you and have your vin with you. He should be able to hook you up and save you some money as well. 1-866-528-5282

Looks like a fun rig. Can't wait to check it out next time we are there.
  4. The Weber will make significant improvements. The cam finishes the project. The cost will be around $72.50 for the torque cam. I will have to check again to be positive of the price. Lifters need to be resurfaced as well. The whole package is usually under $100 + shipping to your home.
  5. Cams and a Weber are your answer for larger tires. I know a guy that can hook you up with the cams...
  6. We did it one night while fiddling around on the dyno. Only managed to gain 5hp on an injected EJ18. I doubt the stock carb will like being blown through either.
  7. Have you seen Steve's other endevours? He is not afraid to try different things!
  8. Damn, quit beating him up unless it doesn't work. No one has tried this carb before so it may just work.
  9. There woould be no other reason to compete with the Miata other than racing.
  10. I understand, but any swap moves into a modified or open class.
  11. Unfortunately, all those mods move it up in class and would no longer compete directly with the Miata.
  12. Thank you sir!!
  13. Indeed, I was called by a couple of people! Looking for a couple copies right now!
  14. Huge money to drive in the snow or a field.
  15. It is an EJ18. It has more power than the old pile it came with. That would explain why you think it has more power. You still need air for bottom end power. You do not want to hear it. Which is fine. So, enjoy! They are set that high to keep dust and debris out of the air system as well. Most times snorkels are used is to keep dust rather than water out. Rather, I should specify that most big rigs. Land Rovers, F40s, Safari rigs and such normally use it for cleaner air and the occassional river crossing.
  16. Actually, there are more than enough Austin. Every bend slows air flow. He is relying solely on the engine to generate air flow. A turbo motor self-generates air flow. A SPFI does not generate enough to overcome the bends.
  17. LMAO point... Gloyale! My point was not really to ridicule, sorry. It just looks messy man. Too many bends and abrupt turns to really work well. Sure, it gets air to the intake but it could be so much better if you cleaned it up.
  18. Yes, under pasenger side carpet. Why, if I might ask, are you looking for the computer?
  19. Good call Miles. Surprises me that people do not understand that providing basic information could generally get an answer to their questions in the first reply...
  20. Too many bends to be efficient. Looks lke it was built by a preschooler using tinker toys!
  21. You are right, all the EJ "blocks" are the same width. Add the heads and everyone is a different width. Fast on and off the street? That ended the conversation for me.
  22. http://preracing.com/home.html Contact these guys. They have/had a pretty heavily built WRX running rear drive.
  23. Way too many bends! You should have payed better attention to Jesse's example.
  24. Now, compare this set up and the quad set up. Not nearly as strong. The quad stuff is not strong enough to carry the weight of a car.
