Bringing the 82 BRAT Back To Life!
Pretty sure I can match the PS one. Been a few since I've layed eyes on them, but the ones I have look familiar from memory. Do my best to remember to get them out of their hiding spot tomorrow (after work) and snap a pic or two for you.

You need just the lens, or whole tail-light assembly? Have both. Should have ignition key lock assembly and door locks to keep it all one key. I'll check on that and post back.

5 pedal boxes from EA82's, '86 thru '92, all have those pieces. Didn't look at the one on the BRAT.

Still have the '82 BRAT. But when I'll ever have time to work on it is the question.- What Have You Done to your Soobie lately? (Please post in here and keep it going)

No resistor on these. ECU is mounted to the underside of steering column. Have to remove that trim panel to access it.- EA82 HVAC Blower Works Only on Speed 3?
The speed selector switch has failed. You are correct on the "High Only" if it was the resistor pack.- Caliper jamming
If it's the front left one hanging up, it could be due to the Hill-Holder. Proper adjustment of it's cable would help there.- 88 Subaru GL lifter tick?

Agreed. Also may want to replace the water pump if money allows and you don't know it's age. Going to be right there next to it anyways. Seeing as yours doesn't have A/C, pulling the radiator AND the center of the grille, gives all kinds of; "I can see what I'm doing" room. I have used ATF/kerosene/fuel-oil/diesel along with the engine oil in the oil pan to try to clean the innards of an engine in the past. All will work, but I seem to like Seafoam more as of late.. ATF is high detergent, it do clean stuff well. Risleone (sp?) Engine Flush was another one I used in the past, but don't find it locally anymore. That stuff worked in my opinion, but it smelled just like kerosene to me. So why not use use kerosene instead was my thought, as I could buy a gallon of kerosene for the cost of the quart can of Risleone.- 88 Subaru GL lifter tick?
Yep. Just what you thought it to be. Noisy lifter. Referred on here as, "The Tic-of-Death" (TOD). But it's really not fatal to the engine. Annoying as all get out, definitely. Some Seafoam in the oil for a bit to maybe clean things, and a fresh oil change may help. But a reseal of the oil pump would really be best. edit; Didn't hear that when you were down here last Sunday.- Respect for the EA81 and performance mods!
- 84 brat wiper motor park location
Just looked at the wiper system of the '82 BRAT. In Parked position, the arm from motor to DS wiper is at the bottom of the motor pivot.- Ea82 engine crossmember in ea81
