Some early carbed EA82's will have just a EGR system and not a ECS. I may be wrong on the color of the plug, it could be blue. Should be a 1 wire connector under the dash on the left side of the steering column. Black plug and it should be connected or disconnected to reset.

Rockauto has the pick up coil for the disty. Look at yours to match up with what they have. Look under Ignition Control Module (ICM).

Quick word of advice here for you guys caravaning. Keep your distance, do not follow each other to closely. The roads will be wet and stopping distances will increase. A few years back a group of people were on their way to WCSS12(?) and something happened. 3 cars didnt make it to the show that year.

Only bolt up option is a trans from another early Legacy or Impreza. Even then you will need to fab a x-member, driveline and axles for it.

So far this 93 Imp trans has outlasted 2 fulltime D/R trans. Hope I didnt jinx myself

Finally got the new speedo cable installed in the RX. So far, so good. Done a couple of hard pulls on it and it hasnt snapped. Yet.

You will need to do some modifying on the linkage mount to body. I just used a strap on mine. You will need to get a driveshaft shortened (I think its shorten).

There are other solutions besides this one. This is just one of a few options. Everyone here is just waiting for the person thats making these to say he has some ready for shipping.
