  2. You will find most of your questions answered in this sub forum. If you look for threads started by me, you will the write up about the EJ22T swap I did in my 89 RX. If your smart, you will leave the engine stock as it has plenty of power for the RX.

  6. I have ordered many items from RA, never once have I received the wrong part. Got to be sure what you are ordering. as most parts houses usually get mixed up between the EA81 and EA82.
  7. Like Ski said earlier, the lifted rigs with a divorced t-case use RWD. My lifted hatch had this setup, but I went thru 2 trans because I stripped the teeth of the ring gear. With the EJ trans, the center diff can be welded which allows all power to go to the rear. I'm going to use this setup on my upcoming project.

  9. Correct on the front struts. The plug for the rear is under the back seat I believe (its been a while since I've had a gen 3 wagon)

  11. I made some brackets and mounted mine where the turn signals went (now located in the cornermarkers)

Then another guy bought and posted frequently here for a while about getting it running, progress etc, then he dropped off the map about a year ago. Now here it is again. Hope you have better luck.   16. It may be because you have a open front diff and it wont lock in park if the axle is broken on one side. A lot of times a parts store will sell reman'd axles and this will happen (early breakage). Get new axles for the front and make sure the axle nuts get torqued to the correct specs.
  17. Might move it up a few degrees to see if it stops. A few isnt going to hurt anything but might get rid of the ping.
  18. A few thousand more miles and I can add the 200k to my Foz. Not sticking anything like that on my RX.
  19. I just started researching glass polishing. Considering you need to remove a lot of material at first, all the flutes and ribs in a 3-4in diameter, its a lengthy process. You should be able to get 3M products in Oz or at least get them shipped from a lot of suppliers in the US.
  20. You can pull the unit out after 10min to see if they will separate, but I did crack one not letting it cook long enough. Thanks for showing us how brilliant you are.
  21. Most flywheels get redrilled on a mill. Check with Scott (SJR) and Gloyale, they might be able to help out. A EJ clutch disc can be used along with the pressure plate from a XT6, it will help a little.
  22. Give us a night shot so we can see it better I got something in the works (again) for the corner marker on my RX.
  23. I use a pad attachment from Griots for polishing glass. It hooks up to drills etc. You can also buy the pads from them, but they arent cheap. I start with 3M 60grit sanding discs and work my way up to finer grit, Then I use a variety of compounds, ranging from rubbing compound to glass polishing compound also from Griots. When you first start grinding the glass down you MUST wear a mask. Breathing in glass dust will cause irreparable damage to your lungs.
