  1. A red led light like a Cylons faceplate:cool:
  2. No more locking cap for the Hatch:rolleyes: Qman gave me some input for getting the winch in, just need better weather to do it. Maybe 10deg warmer should work:Flame:
  3. I have 5 different Soobs I can drive. Well, 4 right now. The 6 is waiting for a engine/tranny swap. I only drive my Brat right now if I absoloutly have to. It desperatly needs a tranny swap and front end work. My RX has been my daily since I got the HG changed after WCSS8 and I couldnt be havin more fun. But I miss the 6, it had its own distinct personality. And when the swaps get done its going to be hard to decide on which one to drive. My wife car, the 86 t-wagon, is just sitting. Its a backup car at the moment. And the Hatch gets a occasional trip out to the woods.
  4. That was going to be my next suggestion. I've had to use that technique a few times, and it works good.
  5. Grease up the end of the shaft? This usually helps it slip into the bearing easier.(sorry kids:rolleyes:) Try turning the engine over a little, it also might help.
  6. Pick a day, I'll try and make it. This time a little earleir.
  7. I got that carpet out of the XT and its drying out (well, its freeze dried right now:rolleyes: Its 14deg outside) I'll let you know when its ready to go.
  8. Here you go.... http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/photos/showphoto.php?photo=13947&cat=500&ppuser=96
  9. Unless your window is pitted from sand, rocks and road debris. RainX rocks btw:headbang:
  10. I almost needed the Hiemlich! Remind me not to read Skipper post' while eating:slobber:
  11. All you have to do is bend the arm a little to get more pressure. Finding a new spring is difficult, but not immpossible. Good luck with the crack.
  12. They will work fine. Might get a little rub when turning and hitting a bump at the same time, massage the area with a hammer if it does.
  13. Singlecoil, your PM box is full. The diagram above should apply to all EA82 cars.
  14. Ok, for everyones future reference (its in my photo gallery, or just save to your puter)
  15. Its currently still in the parts car I have. The car was in a accident but was running fine prior to that, I drove the car a couple of miles to my house and it shifted fine. I have the engine in my RX right now. It would take me about an hour to pull, maybe less considering the engines removed already. No clutch/pressureplate or throwout bearing.
  16. I have one in very good condition that I will sell you for $100.
  17. Home Despot, I think it was about $17 for 25ft.
  18. For starters you probably need to seperate anything still attached the wheel. Remove any other obvious broken parts, if possible.
  19. Most Salesmen dont have a clue about old school Soobs. Ditto on the gearbox and drivetrain. Another ditto on the fenders, those tires are going to rub no matter how much you trim.
  20. Look under "Parts cars" and "Öthers" in the Subaru makes.

I try and catch it on Speed on the weekends when they do a re-cap.
  22. Or you could go the cheap, redneck route and use garden edging like me.
  23. Turbone replied to DeathHatch's topic in Off Road
Here, I lightened this one up a little so we could see it better. Looking good! Wonder what it would look like next to mine? Hard to believe that was my first lifted rig. Now its all growed up... snif:-p
  24. Right, missing one side. There were the 2 rear pieces and on side piece and they were inside the car. It also had the rear wing, still attached.
