  1. That be him. I thought he moved to CO a few years ago and he fell off the map I guess. Did a quick search.... http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=20783&highlight=magnificent+subaru Nevermind, pics are no longer available on that server
  2. I think that would be a GL10 only option on the Sedans. But I've been wrong before:rolleyes:
  3. I also agree. I've dealt with Jason many times and have got excellent service. It helps when you only live about 13mi away too:brow:
  4. Here you go. Belongs to a past board member (Ross). He removed the rear hatch and had a tonneu cover made for it. Didnt work all that well, it leaked. I cant remember his board name otherwise you might be able to do a search and find more pics.
  5. Buy it by the foot I believe. I think I have a sample of the stuff packed in a box somewhere:rolleyes:
  6. The water supply can tap into the return heater hose. The return I believe goes into the pass side head. Its been awhile since I messed with a EA81T:rolleyes:
  7. Years ago I found some from JCW. I never actually used it but quite sure it will work. Do you need it for both doors? I might have one side.
  8. Andy, dont screw around with that stuff. Just get a EA82Turbo and the DP/Upipe. Straight across swap.
  9. Saw a set of Hankooks on a rig today. Man those things are knarly, great side lugs. I wouldnt hesitate to buy a set of those next time I'm in the market. The Buckshots might be alright for the road, but I wouldnt offroad them. Theres no protection for the sidewalls.
  10. What a coincidence. Mines black too:brow: With black topper and silver wheels and stock height tho. I have the chrome Brushman bumper guard (semi)installed now too. tsutomu, you can always buy one tire at a time:-p
  11. SAS in a XT has been done, but it was a XT6 which has plenty of room in the engine bay for something else. It had plenty of torque with the ER27 for the solid axles, but he couldnt see squat in front of him. There is another member who had a small block Chevy in his Hatch, but the engine was tired and he ended up toasting it and swapping in another EA81 (I think). http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/photos/data/500/3017xt6-061.JPG
  12. Scanned in PDF format for the XT and XT6. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/photos/showphoto.php?photo=13656&size=big&cat=500
  13. Lets see if I can do it as a PDF attachment. If it doesnt work, give me your email addy and I'll send it that way. BLWRMTR2.pdf
  14. Depends on the model. The EA82T's are in the very right hand side of the dash. You can access it by removing the glovebox, but to remove it the dash needs to be dettached on that side, pulled out and 2 screws removed on the outside corner. I know this cause I just removed one. What a PITA:rolleyes:
  15. Great pics and story, looks like it was great fun too. Wish I could have been there:-\ Next year for sure. I hope I can make a snow run before it melts tho. And Bryan, the name is Rob, not Todd:confused:
  16. Yeah, it belongs to JWX. He bought a few years back and as far as I know its not running yet. But I guess you werent here yet:rolleyes: search, search, search;)
  17. Go over to the Meet n Greet forum, theres a write up coming on what the day was like.
  18. Oh yeah, I remember you wanted to share that:slobber: I shall patiently wait for story/pics then.
  19. I noticed some bad noises when making a u-turn once, made a mental note not to do that again. My Hatch, I think because of the 8in of lift, has a nasty tendency to get squirrley when shifting/accelerating when only one rear axle is in. Torque steer in the rear is not fun.. Personaly, I think driving with a welded diff will shorten the life of it. But it could depend on road condtions and driving habits on how long it will last.
  20. Might have it ready for a Spring run?
  21. I asked about that, he said it was a 2 door. Maybe I didnt hear correctly, my hearing is as bad as my memory these days:rolleyes:
  22. Old school folks (especially ones from the east coast:D ) will call a coupe a sedan. Nothing wrong with it, you just need to be aware of the difference.
