  1. Man, I feel like that little guy sometimes. He just needs some color to him. Black coveralls, maybe a little greenish tint for his skin. I think I found my new mascot:headbang: Who's permission do I need to use it? And that Sunbeam is just plain fugly:-\ HT, thanks for the post. I emailed him about the seats, he hasnt been around for quite a while tho.
  2. I'm sure something can be fabbed up. What I'm worried about is width. If the seat is wider than a EA81 by much, its a no go:-\
  3. I put a XT seat in my Hatch and even with the height ajustment, it was still to low:-p I'm hoping the Imp seats and EA82 bracketry will get me where I want to be. The 3D sample Craig showed should be simple enough to fab up, once I find some C-channel metal.
  4. Yeah, with the USMB logo on it:brow: Just need to figure out how to hang the TP:rolleyes:
  5. Hmmm, I either have one here or there might be one at the Tacoma PAP.
  6. Well, I guess I should hang on to it then:lol: I can hook up a little platform that fits onto my hitch......... I think I can make it work:headbang:
  7. Like I said, it needs to be modified. The whole bottom mount can be removed and the lip cut off. Then attached to whatever. Anyone want it?
  8. Was at the J/Y the other day and just found it laying on the ground. I tried fitting it on a EA81 in the yard, it needs to be modified to fit. I think it will fit just about anything with some cutting.

  10. EA82 4wd shocks for the rear and adjustable coil overs on the front. Send Qman a PM or email, he has the skinny for the suspension setup.
  11. She deserves a steak dinner for that! And rides for life:clap: Ask your Wife what she told the Cops, they might have been under the impression that the kids life was in danger:brow: Do you live on a hill? Just wondering how the dipstick was going to get it going once it was out of the driveway:rolleyes: Maybe chock the wheels at night also.
  12. Did a search and it looks like no one has done it yet. Saw a nice set at the PAP today and I think I'm going to go for it. I've done a XT seat swap into a EA81 before and it wasnt that bad. Any thoughts?
  13. If thats a Subaru, I would like to see some pics. If not, your on the wrong message board.

Granted, all the photo shopping and stuff looks cool and its a nice idea. BUT, in my neck of the woods, if your running without doors, you run the risk of getting some serious face smacking from tree/brush branches. I prefer keeping whats left of my feeble eyesight by keeping doors on my rig, along with windows. I know, I take the fun out of everything:rolleyes:
  15. If you dont plan on hauling alot of stuff around in the back, or you like the rear seat down, get a couple of 10in Subs in as small a box as possible. Definatly make sure it fits between the wheel wells. You wont regret it:headbang:
  16. I have Leg struts up front and XT 2wd shocks on the rear. I also flipped the top mounts over on the rears to lower it even more. My other XT6 has Leg fronts with the XT6 top mounts and EA82 4wd rear shocks.
  17. CRAP! I need to get busy on those hats:rolleyes:
  18. I have 10" in the front and 11" in the rear, with 30" tires. I think I have 8" lift all the way around, never measured it. I also have a dropped rear diff hanger and a seperated front diff (divorced T-Case). That means my axles are pretty much level when sitting on flat ground.
  19. Pics might work better for those of us that dont have access to parts books.
  20. Well, finally took some pics of the T-Wagon and XT6 cupholders. Dont have anything good for the Hatch yet.
  21. Sorry to hear about your Mom, Pat. And I thought I was having car troubles:-\ I would look at the TCU. I dont know where its located on your car, I only know where its at on a XT6:rolleyes: When trannies start going thru gov's that qiuck, its time for a new one. The gear in the diff that drives it can be replaced but you need to pull the tranny and seperate the front diff from it. Be easier to just replace the tranny.
  22. We've had version 1 and 3 already. I vote for #4.

  24. Sometimes the late model EA81's and EA82's get mixed up. To ID your engine, look at the front left. There is a stamping that will say one of the 2 I mentioned. This way you will know which parts to get for your car. There is a 85 and up EA82 2dr with a Hatch that we call a 3dr Coupe. The EA81 2dr Hatch is just that, a Hatchback. Caleb is pulling your leg, btw, hard too. There is a verylarge group of Subaru enthusiast in this area, I live in Bonney Lk with a few others real close by. This is what my EA81 Hatchback looks like.......... Just a little modified:D Aarons in White Center has parts, Lynwood PAP and Tacoma have parts also.
  25. I havent seen any stock like that. My 86 GL-10 has a digidash and the area in front of the shifter is a cubby hole (full of junk). I would assume any guages would be aftermarket.
