  1. The stuff that TomR was talking about is what I have. Works pretty well on the smaller stuff. Have you considered another tank? Rob
  2. Glad you were able to get the car going again. The EA81T can be pretty finiky to say the least. The flasher unit is in that general area, if you turn the flashers on it will help you locate it. I'm thinking its above the fuse box. Rob
  3. I have some stuff in my shed, made just for sealing gas tanks. I'll see if I can find it tomorrow. Rob
  4. Ok, I did some searching and found this link to an article from April of 2002. Granted, its 1 1/2yrs old, but the info answers alot of questions (and myths). http://www.autospeed.com/cms/A_1338/article.html Rob
  5. I would love to back to Japan and see if they have wrecking yards there like we do. Travel all over the Island picking up stuff along the way, then shipping it back to the PNW. I could probably retire off the proceeds:D Hey Honey, I'm going to the JR, be back in a month. Rob
  6. I have some bad news guys........It get worse the older you get:slobber: I've been tempted to start a journal on the cars I work so I can remember whats done and where. Rob
  7. Both 82 GLF's I owned had it. Dont know for sure when they started adding it tho. rob
  8. According to my 86 FSM, the holes are hiding behind the wiring harnesses for the lights. You need to move them to access the holes. Rob
  9. Okeydokey, got the go signal. Might even try and bring the whole gang in the Turbo Wagon:eek: Hope theres SNOW:clap: Rob
  10. Syphon, dont forget to call me before coming up to get the other one. rob
  11. You have mail, Dave. Rob
  12. Sounds like the oil seal in the turbo went south on you. Rob
  13. Adam, theres a pin actuated electrically on the left side of the tranny. This is what puts it in 4wd. You might have sheared it off (I've seen one like this). I dont know if the tranny has a locking center, I doubt it. Rob
  14. Is this on the turbo wagon? Its a sealed system, so everything needs to be tight. Once in a while my 84 turbo coupe dipstick pops out a little, but hasnt caused the engine to run bad. But a loose oil cap could cause rough running. Rob
  15. You should know by now that nothing ever breaks when your expecting it. Let your wife drive it for a few days:brow:Always worked for me. Dont tell her I said that tho:eh: Rob
  16. All great suggestions folks:D I'll have to go out and buy a box of bounce, my wife uses the liquid fab softner:( Rob
  17. Ha, got ya! It does pertain to sap, tree sap. Whats the best way to get it off without damaging the paint? I dont want to use harsh chemicals or razor blades, does anyone know of any old home remedies? Rob
  18. Try looking in the archives. Rob
  19. I also agree its a digidash thing. It seems the more power drawn from the system the higher the gauge reads. But you also say the fan isnt moving much air either. I would check your ducts, make sure there arnt somethings in there plugging them(mouse nests and such). Rob
  20. Did you mess with the hoses at the firewall? There is an in & out for the heater hoses. Rob
  21. I suggest 3 different versions. Your standard mudflinging edition, the classy street edition and the Rally edition. It might be easier to have the pic party on-line. Rob
  22. The swap is doable, just need the motor and tranny. I'm not sure what is on the front for suspension, but it should be easy to upgrade to the EA81 if its not already. I have a couple WS, let me know if you want one, $50. Rob
  23. By the time you got done with all that shifting, I would be a 1/4mi ahead of you:headbang: Rob
