  1. Do you plan on staying the weekend? Otherwise there wont be that much of a turn-out for Friday. Rob
  2. Lack of power could be just a timing issue. Throw a light on it after you tune it up. Rob
  3. I cast my vote for Evans Crk. too. I dont think my Hatch can make the run that far north again(right now anyway). Rob
  4. I dont think a one blown head gasket would put coolant on all 4 plugs. Theres something else going on here, maybe intake gaskets also. Rob Btw, nice score Jay
  5. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, and havent actually confirmed it yet. From the talk at work today, the whole area above Greenwater is shut down due to fire hazard. Need to call the Ranger Station in Enumclaw to get the details:mad: Rob
  6. Give me that $ amount again Andy, you know us older guys tend to forget easily. Rob PS, still need a meeting place.
  7. Well, Seattle is a big town. Where do you plan on being when you expect us to rondyvoo? Rob
  8. Yes, caveman style:D Take a hammer and sharply hit the ball joint end(housing) till it pops out. Same with the lower control arm ball joint, but this one may take a few serious whacks. Disclaimer: I will not be held responsible for damage done to hardware or body parts using this method:rolleyes: Rob
  9. Way to go guys(and gals). Cant wait to hear and see all about it. If I have to run away from home, I aint missing the next one:banghead: Rob
  10. Loosen the gas cap. See if that works. Rob
  11. Well, heres a thought. If you have a high mileage vehicle (doesnt have to be a Soob), just start taking it into Spiffies for oil changes. Sooner or later they will screw up and forget to put the oil back in, and you get a new motor out of it:D Rob
  12. I guess you are going to need that fuel pump sooner than you thought, eh? I'll see if I can pull it out this weekend. Rob
  13. That is a nice one. The one that SB has, was in decay from rust. I hope you got her #? Need to keep track of that Soob. Rob
  14. Is there anyway you could post pics in the USMB photo gallery. This way everyone doesnt need to get a user name and password to see pics on MSN. Subaru Bob had a Black Diamond, I cant remember what # it was. I think he got it from Chef Tim, but that was a couple years ago, and I'm not sure if he still has it. Rob
  15. My Dad had the same prob with Spiffy lube, except they said they changed the diff oil in his 86 Dodge van. 1 day later he took it to his reg mech and he told him it was bone dry and toasted. They went to court and lost! My Dad even had the mech (ASE cert) with him, but they couldnt prove without a doubt that Spiffy didnt refill the diff. Cant even win when you take them to court:rolleyes: Btw, the shop is the one on Benson in Kent. Rob
  16. You will have to swap out the axles also. The Turbos have more splines. Rob
  17. That explains the x-members being the same, but doesnt explain the tunnels being diff sizes:confused: Rob
  18. Thats really weird about the x-members and tranny tunnels. It just dawned on me tho, was it a AT or MT that was in it originally? The tunnels should have been the same size either way. Just plain weird I tell ya..... Rob
  19. What was the date on the paper? It could be in the archives. Rob
  20. Depends on what intake you have on the 83. If its aa Hitachi carb, then it should work. If its a Carter carb, you need to get a Hitachi intake. Rob
  21. I havent heard of anyone screwing something up on the inside, but yea, beat the tunnel in with a BFH. I should have mentioned that on Sun, but I wasnt all there:eh: Rob
  22. No Ed, havent heard anything from him all summer. I've been real busy, and I'm sure he is too. We need to get something done soon tho, I'm sure alot of people are waiting:( Rob
  23. The 88 is the wrecked one, right? Email me your snail mail addy so I can mail the fuel pump. Rob
  24. Are the 4wd/2wd gas tanks the same on the EA82's? The tank in my EA82T GL-10 4wd Wagon has alot of garbage in it, and I have 2 EA82 2wd tanks available. At first glance they look the same, but I havent crawled under the cars yet. Rob
  25. Get your licsence straightened out yet? Otherwise you might loose this car also. Rob
