  1. That I have a SPFI in a 88 (I think). This was a car I got from Calebz, and he said it was running. Email me for more info. Rob
  2. Nice seeing you guys, glad it was in the Mt's:brow: Its a good thing you all dont live together, it wouldnt be safe around here:lol: Andy, thanks for the pipe(exahust folks), I'll make good use of it. When the $$ is available I'll get ahold of you. Rob
  3. Normally the cool down period for the turbo is so that the oil circulating will cool off and not produce whats called "coke" in the bearings. Reoff, I think you might have had other issues that led to you cracking both heads. You might have Gen 1 heads that are prone to cracking. I would get a bottle of MMO, maybe 2 for 2 oil changes. It might help the valve ticking. The bubbling could be air in the heater lines, its common. Rob
  4. Theres nothing up in your neck of the woods? Everett/Lynnwood Paps? Ed? What kind of X-member are you looking for? Rob
  5. Definately bring toiletries. Baby wipes are good to have. If there is a serious problem or accident, I live about 1/2hr away. Willing to loan out my shower if absolutely needed. Also have "some" parts if needed. Rob
  6. Yea, and check out the specs. The added weight is 1,340 to 1,610lbs. Thats half what the car weighs. Recommended GVW is over 10K. If you think the ATV setup can be adapted to a Soob, then go for it. Somebody else checked into this last year, and found out the price was quite high. Rob
  7. You better figure on dropping a V8 in the car also. Thats the only thing that will push that much track:eek: Rob
  8. I posted a couple of pics of the black conv in the USMB gallery, in my photos. Rob
  9. If I cant make this, I might as well sell my @#$% Hatch! So yea, I'm trying real hard to be there. Rob
  10. It looks like the article hasnt made the transfer yet from the old USRM. There were alot of things in there, and the folks doing the transfer are still working on it. Rob
  11. Probably the coolest looking Justy I've seen yet. But, for those of us that are still on dial-up (15min DL time) please downsize your pics in the future. Rob
  12. "Convertible section"? Wasnt aware there was one. If its not Hatch Patrol, its "Other Soobs". I just added 2 more pics of the 84 in CT. Richie is going to restore the car, not sure if he has started yet or not. He is located in the Portland, Or. area. Rob
  13. Eric, maybe you will do well in Vegas and can get your new puter with the winnings:santa: Rob
  14. Do you plan on staying the weekend? Otherwise there wont be that much of a turn-out for Friday. Rob
  15. Lack of power could be just a timing issue. Throw a light on it after you tune it up. Rob
  16. I cast my vote for Evans Crk. too. I dont think my Hatch can make the run that far north again(right now anyway). Rob
  17. I dont think a one blown head gasket would put coolant on all 4 plugs. Theres something else going on here, maybe intake gaskets also. Rob Btw, nice score Jay
  18. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, and havent actually confirmed it yet. From the talk at work today, the whole area above Greenwater is shut down due to fire hazard. Need to call the Ranger Station in Enumclaw to get the details:mad: Rob
  19. Give me that $ amount again Andy, you know us older guys tend to forget easily. Rob PS, still need a meeting place.
  20. Well, Seattle is a big town. Where do you plan on being when you expect us to rondyvoo? Rob
