  1. According to my 86 FSM, the holes are hiding behind the wiring harnesses for the lights. You need to move them to access the holes. Rob
  2. Okeydokey, got the go signal. Might even try and bring the whole gang in the Turbo Wagon:eek: Hope theres SNOW:clap: Rob
  3. Syphon, dont forget to call me before coming up to get the other one. rob
  4. Sounds like the oil seal in the turbo went south on you. Rob
  5. Adam, theres a pin actuated electrically on the left side of the tranny. This is what puts it in 4wd. You might have sheared it off (I've seen one like this). I dont know if the tranny has a locking center, I doubt it. Rob
  6. Is this on the turbo wagon? Its a sealed system, so everything needs to be tight. Once in a while my 84 turbo coupe dipstick pops out a little, but hasnt caused the engine to run bad. But a loose oil cap could cause rough running. Rob
  7. You should know by now that nothing ever breaks when your expecting it. Let your wife drive it for a few days:brow:Always worked for me. Dont tell her I said that tho:eh: Rob
  8. All great suggestions folks:D I'll have to go out and buy a box of bounce, my wife uses the liquid fab softner:( Rob
  9. Ha, got ya! It does pertain to sap, tree sap. Whats the best way to get it off without damaging the paint? I dont want to use harsh chemicals or razor blades, does anyone know of any old home remedies? Rob
  10. I also agree its a digidash thing. It seems the more power drawn from the system the higher the gauge reads. But you also say the fan isnt moving much air either. I would check your ducts, make sure there arnt somethings in there plugging them(mouse nests and such). Rob
  11. Did you mess with the hoses at the firewall? There is an in & out for the heater hoses. Rob
  12. I suggest 3 different versions. Your standard mudflinging edition, the classy street edition and the Rally edition. It might be easier to have the pic party on-line. Rob
  13. The swap is doable, just need the motor and tranny. I'm not sure what is on the front for suspension, but it should be easy to upgrade to the EA81 if its not already. I have a couple WS, let me know if you want one, $50. Rob
  14. By the time you got done with all that shifting, I would be a 1/4mi ahead of you:headbang: Rob
  15. When I told Caleb it was snowing here, he started swearing(and sweating) saying he had to turn the AC on cause it was in the 80's that day. Glad I'm in the NW:D Rob
  16. Like Caleb said, I mentioned it around 1230am on MSM. Obviously I wasnt up at the crack of dawn. Well, the kids were. Its like X-mas to them:santa: Rob
  17. Ditto what Calebz says. I had a 84 Turbo wagon that did the same thing on the freeway. Turned out to be the module in the disty. Rob
  18. Lets go get it muddy:D It needs to be properly christined. Rob
  19. Why, with a Subaru Time Machine of course:drunk: Rob
  20. Uh, you did check the fluid level, right? Could be something simple, like a vacuum leak. Dont be so quick to write off your Moms car. Rob
  21. I would try another turbo unit, maybe from an EA82T. Sounds like the typical bad turbo oil seal. Rob
