WCSS12 Pictures!
I would like to thank the organizers for putting on another great show, we all had a great time. I have no complaints, even the catering wasnt a problem (I brought my own food). I could have used another day actually, cause I missed seeing a lot of cars and people. There was a great showing of lifted rigs this year, glad I brought my Hatch. I didnt take the Hatch into the mudpit because I only had parts for one car. If something broke on the Brat and Hatch, I would be in trouble. This is only the first coat of mud on my wheels, I went out again later Sat. Would like to say thanks to Danbob and Monstaru for letting me heave people in the jumpseats, they thoroughly enjoyed the rides (pics later of that). It took $5 at the car was and another 1/2hr in camp to clean the mud out of the pug alloys. THEN another 20min on the side of the road to get the rest off the inside of the rims :-\ Part of the Old School section, another good turnout this year. Russ and Larry won their classes (by default) :-p And I won Best Gen 3. I did actually break something on the Hatch, but it was on the way home. I was coming down I-90 and just hit North Bend when the u-joint let go (60mph). It shook the whole car and I was all over my lane, I thought I blew a tire. I limped it to the next exit and removed the front shaft and was back on the road in no time. All my PB pics are here... http://s286.photobucket.com/albums/ll95/Turbone/Car%20Meets%20and%20Shows/WCSS12/ I'll have some vid up in a little bit.

Timing Off 180 Degrees
Did you set to TDC when you were installing the belts? Thats not the way you do it. There are 3 marks on the flywheel that you need to line up to start. None of this should mean you need to pull the engine out tho, its easy to fix the belts with the engine in. Removing the radiator helps. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=50768

WCSS 12 - What YOU need to KNOW
I have a problem with that. If I bring 3 cars, but 2 of us will be in one tent, do I still need to pay for 3?

What's your wrenching experience?
Type of Wrenching: Professional, Shadetree, Maintenance What: Subarus, and a little bit of everything else How long doing it: First pro shop was 30 years ago (Goodyear) Other skills: Carpenter(includes concrete to roofing) for 25yrs, AA in electronics, Some schooling for autobody. Kind of like Mick's history....been taking stuff apart since I was a kid. Took me a while to figure out how to put it back together and make it work tho. Having kids with toys made me pretty good at fixing broke stuff also.

Any ideas on what this could be?
Are the spark plugs removed? Turns easier without compression. Once you get it to turn, remove the starter and remove the TC bolts thru the hole.
