Old School Representation *Warning NC-17*

Featured Replies

I saw on NASIOC that they were having a meet at a local speed shop.. WRXs, STi's.. So I decided that old school turbo needed to be represented... Heres a pic for now.. will give more info later

Safe pics. Not suitable for some employers

The other side of the car is covered in mud.. I got distracted by a mud hole on the way there.. they wanted to get the pics on the 'cleaner' side though:rolleyes: Its hard to tell in the pic, but even the cleaner side is pretty nasty and muddy:D

Tim. If you insist on pulling my posts, then editing my posts with no communication efforts made, I will assume you have done so in error and continue to ressurect the threads as I see appropriate. Honestly, Now you know what the thread contains, if you don't like it, don't look at it. I do not want to battle with you about your sense of morals and its place on the board.

nice job, did any of the sti guys give you props?

Yeah.. the STi guys thought it was cool.. none of them had ever seen one before...

one guy had a big list of mods done to his WRX.. I asked him how long it took to do one of them and he said "how the hell should I know?".. Apparently none of these guys do their own stuff.

A few of them acted like I was some sort of super genius when they found out everything I have done to my wagon.. The auto to manual swap really tripped them out! I tried to explain that a monkey with a 10, 12 and 14mm wrench set could do it....

most of them are worst then monkeys:rolleyes: (that I've met anyways.................)

thats why I dont have much respect for the newer import scene, it's all just about how much money you put in. If I had a wrx I'd be gettin my hands dirty no doubt about it. I'd wanna see the insides of that beatiful motor. Hell, if I buy a ferrari someday you can bet I'll have that motor apart in my garage at one point or another.

And why did you not mention this to me??? I would have gone just for those chicks. I have a good bud with a WRX and he loves to get his hands dirty just as much as I do but he just can't pull his whole engine apart just for fun. Don't write off all the newer guys. A few of them know what they are talking about. Whenever subaru Challenge is I want to go with my scoob and represent the old school you should go too. I am unsure of when it is though.

VV Thats cool just email me whenver. Maybe I will have a running car by that time who knows. Heads are back on cams this weekend if wether permits then I have to figure out how to time it. VVVV

It was in the parking lot of texas motor speedway. Largest gathering of subarus outside of the factory was what they said at the event. Cobb brought out cone basher and she was a beast and the only old school I saw was an SVX but that doesn't really count.

Thanks Beach.

Rob.. I just looked.. its already there.. go figure:rolleyes:

If you get on MSN, i'll send some of the other pics to you.. won't post them.. don't want to offend anyone.

I did meet a couple of pretty cool STi owners.

There was one there claiming 370HP.. at the wheels.. it looked pretty gnarly under the hood.. but I didn't really have a chance to talk to him about it.

All in all it was pretty fun.. lots of people wanting to look under the hood of my turbowagon.. they had never seen one.. a number of people took pics of the motor.. One STi owner called it 'cute'

Falenseraf.. sorry dude, I completely forgot about you.. they will be doing it again though.. its in addison, so not to far from you. I will make sure to bring you along next time.

Subaru challenge is at North TX speedway in denton isn't it? it happened the week I moved down here last year

Don't worry I'm not writing off all the new gen guys, I do know one guy with a 2.5rs and he goes further than tune-up duty. I'm sure that there are alot more out there, but generally speaking I can say the new import scene isn't nearly as hands on as the old gen.

Go Caleb!! right on, show those guys that bling is no substitute for skillz!

nice scooby man, i dont like the girls though, if its a car, post a car, if its a girl post a girl, no need to mix the two, they are two seperate catagories.

sheans goin back to his girls have cooties thing again..

Well guys, just in case you haven't noticed, its been a struggle just to keep the first pic up there.. This thread was pulled yesterday with no communication from the mod that did it. Then it was reinstated last night.. then it was edited and had the pic pulled out and a a link that said "NOT SAFE FOR WORK" added in its place.. Once again with no communication from the mod that did it.

None of the pics from that night are terrible or pornographic, but there are a few that are 'racier' than the one I posted.

i'm not going to twist anyones nipples by posting any of the more 'offensive' pics.. but if I get time later, you guys might find a surprise in your PM box:D

I would like to see the pictures of any of the other cars* that were there. I might recognize a few from scoob challenge.
