I would like to have a picture party on the 16th of November to find the best 13 pictures possible.

 

 

 

Has anyone ever made one? And would people buy them if I got one put together? It would just be the price I would have to pay to get it and shipping. Just an idea I had while looking at some other calendars from my music club. Im probably going to make one for myself anyway. Any thoughts or opinions?

You get some pretty good discouts if you buy lots of CDs. Shipping is like $1.73 per CD I think.

I'm sure we can get 12 or more poeple to submit photo's. Maybe we can make a USMB calendar with the readers rides.

 

Of course, if your planning on using any photo's that dont belong to you, make sure to get the owners permission before printing it... but you probably already know that.

 

I have plenty of photo's that I shot that i would be more than willing to put into a calendar. I would also be willing to buy one.

we all find a way of getting the "ride" primed and prep'ed for THEE photo shoot be it a timely weather wonder shot or a posed on on the side of a jeep or pulling a full sized ford outta the ditch or you get the idea.....

 

maybe a gathering foto for the summer months, then we set it up as a either monthly with 2 or 3 car's on it OR a bi-monthly calander design that way there are at least 24 subies on the paper? (Models never hurt either!)

Wow I didnt expect so much input but I guess I did. We ARE subaru people! Doesnt sound like getting photos is going to be too hard. Im actually now thinking of making two different calendars. One strickly for off road and then one for the really pretty older street soobs. Ive been looking at some calendar web sites and the cheepest Ive found is 15 dollars when you get 50 of them and its like 700 some odd dollars. Im going to keep looking for some other options. I want these to be quality glossy calendars and Im sure you guys do also. Tanks all for the input more is great!

Safeway can make 8x10 inch (slightly smaller than printer paper)calendars for 5 bucks. most places charge 20 monies and thats alot, at least for me Im not sure if there glossy or not. would that be fine for some people? I guess I should set a date for a picture party sort of thing for anyone that can make it and some of us can sort photos. Would November 16th work? Its a Sunday.

 

Edit: ok those would not be glossy the glossy ones are 24.95 for 8.5x11 and $31.95 for 10x14, I need opinions

I suggest 3 different versions. Your standard mudflinging edition, the classy street edition and the Rally edition.

It might be easier to have the pic party on-line.

I suggest that the final product be copyrighted by and property of the USMB and that all profits go toward the funding of the board. MHO.

I agree with all profits going to the board and a few different versions wouldnt hurt either. An online party would work if the pictures were of good enough quality. I guess we should decide on who were going to do this through(Safeway, kinkos, ect.) There are online companys that can make calendars from digital photos.
